I get a lot of questions about skincare and when I posted my morning skincare and nighttime skincare routines, they became two of the most popular posts on The Lush List.  I recently received a few emails about what skin care I travel with and thought it would be great to share that here. Plus, I want to invite you to special, private event Tuesday, Sept. 11!

I do love using a combination of products and the ritual each evening of taking a few minutes for myself to use them. My goal has of course beautiful skin without invasive, surgical procedures so there are multiple steps.  However, it is difficult to travel with each and every one of my favorite products.

For our trip to Italy, I thought that I would put one of my favorite lines to the test.  Auyna has 4 products that are designed to provide your skin exactly what it needs.  I knew that our busy schedule and the heat would both take a toll on my skin and it would be the perfect time to pair things down as we would be moving cities as well.

My travel skin care for Italy consisted of 3 Ayuna products Facial Soap, Cream II, and the Essence. To this base of products, I added the Colleen Rothschild Radiant Cleansing Balm (especially to use on the flights) and Mandelic Acid Serum and Glotrition Collagen Serum.  My favorite thing about the Auyna Cream II is that it serves as an eye cream, facial moisturizer and neck cream all in one making it perfect for travel.

I could not believe how fabulous my skin looked throughout the trip, many times with little sleep, and every day stressed by the 96+ plus degree heat and 80% humidity.  Even for Texas, that is hot and humid!

About every 2 to 3 days throughout our trip, I used the Beauty BioScience GloPro to help all of the products absorbed deeply and continue to stimulate collagen production. (You can read more about it here.) I also drank Glotrition Collagen Peptide Drink Mix mix each day to help keep my skin healthy from the inside out.

Daily Travel Skincare must haves in order of use:

Ayuna Facial Soap and/or Colleen Rothschild Radiant Cleansing Balm

BeautyBio GloPro (every 2-3 nights)

Glotrition Collage Serum

Colleen Rothschild Mandelic Acid Serum (every 2-3 nights)

Ayuna Cream II

Travel sizes of these products are available from Ayuna and Colleen Rothschild.

You’ve probably seen either on Instagram stories or other posts from bloggers about their in-flight skin care routine. Mine is extremely simple. Colleen Rothschild Radiant Cleansing Balm, Ayuna Cream II, Colleen Rothschild Retinol Supreme Eye Cream, BeautyBio Collagen + Silver Eye Patches and Colleen Rothchild No 9 Oil.  I also take the BeautyBio Rose Quartz Roller to help with puffiness on the flight and throughout the trip.  This naturally cold stone feels amazing on your tired skin when traveling or at the end of a long day of carpool, too!

As we prepare to head to Spain next weekend with SeaDream Yacht Club, I will be taking these products and can rest assured that my skin will be glowing no matter the jet lag or weather.  I know I’ve been teasing this trip a bit on the blog and on Instagram.  If you are curious you can learn more here!

I’d love for you to join me to experience Auyna at my Ayuna Skincare Master Class next Tuesday, September 11 at Neiman Marcus.  The invitation is below.  Let me know your coming in the comments below or drop me an email!

Best of Travel 2018

2018 was one for the books in the way of travel for me.  This time last year I had no idea it would be that way!  We created so many memories as a family traveling to Mexico, Rome, Florence and Venice.  Travel is something our whole family loves to do and I can’t wait to see what this year holds!
