As you know, Clean Beauty is important to me. I am always looking for clean beauty companies and products to share with you. 100% Pure is one I’m happy to share with you today.
100% Pure is based in California and has 12 retail stores that feature their products. They use Natural ingredients and define this as: Natural ingredients originate from nature and ONLY undergo chemical changes due to biological processes such as fermentation, distillation, and cold processing.
Each of their products goes through a 9 Step Process that ensures Purity, Ingredient Synergy, Potency, Sensitivity, Synergy and Stability. You can learn more about this process to ensure that ingredients work together and products perform here. 100% Pure contains no toxins, fillers or thickeners, only necessary natural ingredients.
100% Pure has both skincare and fruit pigmented make up. 100% PURE uses only fruit and other healthy plant pigments to color their cosmetics including lipsticks, foundations, blushes, mascaras, eye shadows. These are not only natural, they’re also filled with vitamins and antioxidants offering naturally occurring and nutritional benefits to your skin.
I selected a wide range of their fruit pigmented make up to try: an eye shadow palette, a cream eye shadow, two concealers, Ultra Lengthening Mascara, blush/highlighter and lip colors. The first thing I noticed is the beautiful fragrance of the products which comes from their natural ingredients not a synthetic chemical. Don’t worry though. If you don’t like scented products, it is a fresh scent that quickly fades.
The Fruit Pigmented Brightening Concealer has great coverage evening out skin tone and covering dark under-eye circles while also delivering nutrients, hydration, and skin-protecting antioxidants. White Peach and Peach Bisque are the colors I chose.
The Ultra Lengthening Mascara is a true midnight black. It lengthens and separates very nicely and wears wear for the whole day. It gets its pigments from black tea, berries, and cocoa. The Royal eyeliner is soft not hard and dry like some others but very long-wearing.
I love a good palette and this one has such great colors. The highlighter is so beautiful! The darker shadow is great to use just a touch to deepen any of your favorite eye colors. A makeup artist taught me this. Such a great trick to know! This is the next palette I’d love to try. Maybe it’ll be in my stocking…hint, hint.
I’m a huge fan of shimmery, nude eye shadows. I used 100% Pure Satin Eye Shadow. This soft pinkish-nude is great alone as well. I’ve worn it a lot when I’m running out the door but want a soft natural look. Above, I also used it on my lips and brow bone as a highlighter. I love this multi-use product. It has the perfect amount of shimmer I love and is hard to find clean cosmetics. Their individual colors Ginger, Petal Tip and Sugared are a great combo for every day. Deepen them with the dark color from the palette and you are ready for evening!
There are so many lip color styles that no matter what formula you are looking for, 100% Pure has it. I really loved the Lip Glaze in Coquette – so does one of my girls who keep “stealing” it! The Lip Glazes have a moisturizing base of avocado and cocoa butters and are ultra-moisturizing. They are a sheer, glossy lip color that feels so great on and wears well because of the deep fruit pigments.
The Cocoa Butter Matte Lipsticks are so on-trend. I’m wearing the Mirage Matt Lipstick in the photos but loved the deep, bright berry color of the Currant as well. Although they are matte, their blend of cocoa butter, shea butter and vitamin E to moisturize and do not feel dry as most matte lipsticks do to me.
Thank you to 100% Pure for sponsoring this post. All selections and opinions are my own.
