Similar Top / Another Option / Similar Jeans / Burgundy Sac de JourSimilar Shoe for Less

This post originally appeared on August 11, 2017, and was updated on October 24, 2019.

One of my favorite things about a new season is the possibility of a new handbag.  I’ve noticed a fall trend in my own closet.  I seem to gravitate to one color that goes by many names: Bordeaux, Burgundy, Oxblood, Black Cherry and more.  I almost never part ways with my bags and noticed I have 4 now in this beautiful hue!

I wear a lot of black, gray, tan and army green in the fall and winter.  This gorgeous color elevates any outfit and goes with every color in my closet.  I added this Burgundy Saint Laurent Sac de Jour to my wardrobe two years ago and still love it!  I love this style bag because it is as great with jeans as it is with skirts and dresses.  My black Sac de Jour is such a classic. The Saint Laurent Sac du Jour is a great investment bag as well.  The fact that is still a sought after style underscores this point.

There are so many great style bags in my favorite color in a range of price points.  I love this one of coursethis gorgeous bag is under $350, or this bag under $200.  This rosy beauty is an iconic bag like the one you saw here.  Love the sporty stripe strap on this great bag. This darling bag would be fun to carry without the cross body strap, too.

This shade is a great way to make a statement to your casual and cooler weather outfits.  I’ll not be waiting until it cools off much to wear this beauty.  In my mind, September 1 is the perfect date to begin to bring out the fall colors.  If we don’t, we get short-changed!

This fun white top Similar Top is a great transition piece because it has sleeves and a fun detail that will be hot this fall.  And let’s talk about these jeans!  I’ve heard a lot about Mother Denim and after wearing this pair only once, I can see why!  They are so soft and have flattering details in all the right places.  These are the Mid-Rise Flared Crop jean. Find similar jeans here. I’m 5’2″ so they are more ankle on me than a true cropped.  I’m wearing a size 24 (size 0 or 0Petite) for reference.

I think these cool Gianvito Rossi mules will be my new go-to nude shoe for fall.  Unfortunately, they’re sold out but these similar.  They are a little “stepping out” for me but I love them!  I also love that they have a little bit of a bootie look to them.  I’ll be wearing them with dresses, too.
