With the unofficial start to summer under way, we are spending more time either at the lake or out by the pool! I’ve rounded up my favorite swimsuits, cover ups, sunscreens & more under $150 for all things fun in the sun. To make it easier to shop, I’ve broken down my summer favorites under $150 for you by category!
Swim
If you’ve been following along, you’ve seen me share my love of Cabana Life, especially with the recent launch of the Alicia Wood Lifestyle x Cabana Life Essentials Collection. I love the gold details & built-in bra on this sleeveless unisuit. I also have this Striped Dolman that I wear as both a shirt & rashguard.
This strapless bandeau suit has been a favorite of mine and readers since it’s release two years ago. I was thrilled to help debut it when it released as a Draper James collaboration. It is a classic that is well made and uber flattering.
While I haven’t tried the brand, I hear great things about Summersalt. Their best-selling Sidestroke swimsuit comes in 10+ colors & thousands of amazing reviews! I love this blue color along with the solid one. Other reader favorite swimsuit shops include Lilly Pulitzer, Nordstrom, Trina Turk, Draper James x Lands’ End and Everything But Water. I’ve linked some of my top picks below!
Cover Ups
If you’re looking for a new cover up/dress, I live in this terry tunic all summer long. It is available in both long sleeved and sleeveless versions plus comes in navy, white and striped versions. You can see me wearing it here and here. I also have this classic white cover up that I wore in Cabo. It pairs well with a colorful swimsuit and will be in your closet for years to come. Plus, I’m loving this one as well!
Sunscreen
During the summer in the Dallas heat, I am always reapplying my sunscreen! I always have my favorite sunscreen from Juice Beauty on hand and use it on the whole family. The Juice Beauty Sport is a wonderful, water-resistant sunscreen I’ve used for years. I can’t recommend it more highly. If you’re looking for a spray, I would suggest trying this one from Coola. I’ve heard great things about Supergoop’s Glow Screen and their Unseen Sunscreen! I’ve ordered both and am excited to try them!
The best sunscreen is one that you actually wear though! My advice is to find what works best for you and your skin. If you’re looking for the best clean sunscreens, you can read my post about them here. Plus, here are more of my favorite summer beauty products that I shared yesterday!
Hats
A wide brim sun hat can be both chic and practical! In addition to wearing sunscreen on your face, a hat like this one or this one would be perfect for blocking the sun. I’ve added some others to the boutique below that can be worn not only pool or lakeside but also out running errands!
Accessories & Drinks
A day by the water isn’t complete without a pretty pair of sunglasses, cute sandals, and a bag to carry everything in. I just ordered this great bag for the lake! Other must-haves for my family I’ve linked below including a comfortable pool float, floating speaker, and cozy towels. I also love making fun cocktails poolside like my Raspberry Frosé, French Rose Champagne Sangria or this kid-friendly Raspberry Lemonade!
Outdoor Furniture
I have loved sharing our outdoor living with you! They are a go-to spot for us to hang out and are perfect for entertaining. I shared all about them recently here. You can also see all the details on my Instagram Highlights under Outdoor Living.
