I had the opportunity last night to meet celebrated designer Celerie Kemble at a book signing in the Carlin & Co. showroom in Dallas. My friend and interior designer, Roz Murphy, invited me along to see Celerie’s furniture line for Henredon.
She was a true delight and greeted us warmly at the door with Sharpie in hand. She was excited that she had just this week completed the coloring process of the new wallcoverings she has designed which will launch in April. I think the whole process of designing something from start to finish would be fascinating.
I’m equally enamored of her line and her Lela Rose ensemble. Smart girl to wear a designer from Dallas as well as her dear friend in NYC.
The event benefited Dwell with Dignity, a local nonprofit who brings together interior designers to “help families escape poverty through design, one household at a time.”
I’m coveting this beautiful Serpentine sofa. So classic and fresh at the same time.
The dining room vignette was amazing with the Yves mahogany dining table and Phoebe dining chairs and Ravenel book cases. The brass light fixture was something to behold!
Has me thinking of a dining room refresh!

Do you have a favorite from her new collection?
Love Roz Murphy! There is not a better interior designer out there who knows how to adjust to her clients budget, needs, flavor and vision.
