My AWL Fall Home Decor Boutique is filled with items I have my eye on…for my home and yours! We had a slow weekend at home and a little time to work on some of my home projects. Whether it’s organizing or changing things up a bit, it always makes me feel so accomplished! Making small changes can make a big difference.
As I shared on Instagram last week, I’m working on a few more home projects that I’m so excited about. Working on two of my girls rooms (Blue and White Teen Bedroom and Glamorous Gray and White Bedroom with a Pop of Color) has me ready to work on zushing up more spaces in my home. I’ll do a walk through of the girls rooms this week. It’s been hard to do with them at home all day for school!
My two new projects are refreshing some of the downstairs room in my home. My first orders will be a new rug and breakfast room table. Our current table was my great grandmother’s that I had refinished. Our chairs have arms and have beaten the paint badly! Plus years of arts and crafts have taken the finish off, so this is a pretty immediate need.
I’ve always loved this style table but because we have the original Kartell Ghost chairs and my home leans traditional, I think it may be too contemporary as a set. I don’t want to purchase new chairs because they can be so expensive. Plus, I do love these and how easy they are to clean and how well they’ve held up for 12 years! If you love the look, too, this version of the chair that I used in one of my girls rooms is a great price. They are good accent chairs in living rooms as well.
Part of what I’m going to do is playing “Round Robin” with some art and accessories that I already own. When you buy things you love, you’ll love them in many places in your home. I’ll probably start with moving a few lamps and adding a new pair. I have my eye on these gorgeous blue and white lamps for the family room. They are very similar to a pair I had made years ago and sold…Wishing now that I hadn’t done that!
I just received the pillows I ordered for my family room from my Blue and White Pillow for Fall round up. I steamed them out yesterday and will share today on Instagram stories. I love them! They will be great to mix and match with others in the months and years to come.
I’ve not add any Fall decor to my home and that is top of mind as well! I’ll be decorating our front porch and adding a few beautiful wreaths to the doors and kitchen window as well. I’ve included some very pretty and not too kitschy decor items below. I know some go all out on seasonal decor year round but it’s too much for me. Gracious Garlands is my favorite vendor for fresh greenery year round!
I accidentally let my Fiddle Leaf Fig Tree in my bedroom that I’ve had for 5 years die…I think I’ll be replacing it with this beauty. I’ve loved these blooming silk branches in several rooms in my home. These peonies are on my bedside table. There are some gorgeous options for orchids in the boutique below as well. Don’t be afraid of really pretty silk options!
There are a lot of great homes sales happening right now so I’ve shared those here with you as well.
