If you’ve read Alicia Wood Lifestyle very long, you know I love to set a beautiful tablescape.  I’m excited to share this beautiful blue and white tablescape with fabulous items I found at Walmart.

This is the summer of family and friends and Walmart’s great home department makes hosting so easy! With a wide variety of items from unique placemats and napkins to beautiful staples like white pottery and great stemless wine glasses, they have so much to offer.

I love indigo block prints and was thrilled to find these matching napkins and placemats.  I topped them with classic white pottery style plates and bowls. This is a fantastic set. It also includes a salad plate and oversized coffee mugs. I was really impressed with the quality for the amazing price!

My youngest daughter helped me set this table for the photo shoot which we used for dinner that evening. It was her idea to put the flatware together on one side of the placemat. I really like it! This is a great flatware for outdoor dining and will become a staple at our lake house as well.

When we hosted friends recently, one of them commented that I had a great collection of serving pieces. I love to have a perfect bowl or a platter for each dish.  I think it adds a little something and makes the dish a bit more special. This bamboo bowl with matching servers was an immediate yes! It makes even the most simple salad even more special.
