Similar Cashmere Sweater // Similar Jeans // Similar Bracelet // Similar Boots // Similar Handbag
I’m so excited that is has finally cooled off enough to wear my favorite fabric for fall and winter: Cashmere. Cashmere sweaters are what I gravitate to most and I have collected many over the years because they are so soft and cozy. Cashmere sweaters are a perfect choice for a cool day or even as a layering piece for a very chilly day. This beauty would be great for a holiday party. Below I’m sharing my current Cashmere Favorites! They’ll make great additions to your wardrobe as well as great gifts.
There are different grades of cashmere but more expensive is not necessarily the best quality. Many retailers are purchasing and manufacturing in bulk and passing the cost savings on to the customer. If you are purchasing 2-ply or higher like this one, this classic should last for years with good care. Washing on gentle or professional cleaning (see your tag for recommendations) and storing clean cashmere in an air-tight container with moth balls in the off-season should keep your cashmere in good shape for many years.
All cashmere pills so that isn’t an indication of “good” cashmere. Pilling occurs when the tiny fibers twist around each other. You can combat this irritating phenomenon with a sweater comb or sweater stone. If I sweater feels, fuzzy off the bat or too slick, they will pill in short order.
Similar Cashmere Sweater is such a cozy cashmere sweater. I love the poncho cut and the cowl neck. I’m wearing white jeans because you don’t have to put them up after Labor Day, you know. Also showing my favorite booties (sold out) and tall waterproof (sold out, similar Similar Boots) suede boots. These are two pairs of shoes I’ve worn over and over.
Let me know which of my Cashmere Favorites you like the best. The cashmere sweaters and other items make great additions to your wardrobe as well as great gifts for those you love this holiday season.
