Although I am not someone who completely changes my décor for each season, I love to add a few seasonal pieces and refresh things for Fall. Smoky shades of blue and gray, rich ivory, tans and gold are the colors I gravitate to for Fall. Don’t forget to throw in a chic pumpkin or two!
I’ve shared before in my Front Porch decorating tips, Fall décor doesn’t have to mean orange and pumpkins only. Enriching your permanent interior design by playing with complementary shades to what you already have in your home are great ways to make a change that won’t break the bank.
For Fall, I use more navy blue and add in gold and ivory in both pillows and accessories. My favorite way to incorporate pumpkins in October and November is to gather both fresh and faux white or ivory pumpkins. I use them stacked in hurricanes on my mantle, mixed in a tablescape and also piled in a great bowl. I always buy them in early September because if I don’t, they’ll be gone when I’m ready to display them! I’m adding some of these gorgeous mercury glass pumpkins to my collection this year.
I’ve rounded up some of my favorite new home décor for Fall for you below. Below you will find a few different color schemes as well as a round up of the most gorgeous wreaths! Mine definitely need a refresh!
Happy Fall Decorating!
