Our travel for 2019 was truly a dream come true! We checked off quite a few of my 2019 Travel Bucket List! Today, I’m sharing our travel from last year as a way to inspire your 2020 travel planning.
Partnering with Natural World Safaris was such a privilege. They hosted us on what many of you called “The trip of a Lifetime” and we agree! Our Three Days in Cape Town, Two Days in the Cape Winelands, Two Day Luxury Safari at Sabi Sabi and Two Day Luxury Safari at Royal Malewane are filled with moments that will last a lifetime! There is so much beauty in South Africa. Looking into the eyes of a Lion at just a few feet (from the safety of our vehicle!) is truly a moment I will never forget! I’ve saved each of these experiences on Highlights on Instagram. What I Wore on Safari is already a top post for 2020!
Travel is something our whole family loves to do and it makes me so happy to be able to do this with our girls. I’m all about experiences and memories…especially as my girls get older. These times are so important to us. They give us the ability to put daily things aside and focus on experiencing God’s world together.
Your favorite Travel posts of 2019 include destination guides, packing lists and what I wore in each destination. These posts all continue to receive traffic for years. Four Days in Rome, What I Wore in Italy and What I Wore in Spain are two of those. I love that they inspire your packing and planning. We do our best to keep them updated with similar products. Lot’s of these items are still available and in the Top 50 Reader Favorites post from Monday.
I just booked our annual January couples trip to Mexico and Spring Break but nothing is booked for February…yet! We are still working on our summer trips and are hoping to visit some new destinations. I know we’ll be going somewhere new in Europe in the Fall and I’m so excited for this family adventure! These trips bring some of our favorite family memories.
I always love your ideas! Drop a comment below with your favorite couples and family destinations. I know you’ve been some amazing places as well!
