2018 was one for the books in the way of travel for me. This time last year I had no idea it would be that way! We created so many memories as a family traveling to Mexico, Rome, Florence and Venice. Travel is something our whole family loves to do and it makes me so happy to be able to do this with our girls. I’m all about experiences and memories…especially as my girls get older.
Your favorite Travel posts of 2018 include destination guides, packing lists and what I wore in each destination. Looking at these posts makes me want to pack up and go somewhere asap! Nothing is booked for February…hmmm!
I can’t wait to see what 2019 will hold for us! We have some great plans in the works that I hope will come to fruition and I can share them with you!
Let me know where you think we should go next either as a family or a couple. Maybe, just maybe, I’ll book it!

Jennifer,
You would love Italy! Let me know if you have any questions about Rome, Florence or Venice. We’ve also been to Portofino which I highly recommend! Paris is always a wonderful trip.

Have y”all been to the Grand Canyon and Sedona, Arizona? It’s so beautiful! I do recommend spring or fall. The summer is extremely crowded. We went in March to the Grand Canyon and it was perfect. Chilly, but perfect. Sedona we have been in the fall & spring several times, always gorgeous.
Tina,
That sounds wonderful. We definitely have this on our travel list. I need to ask for your tips! My husband wants to do a Grand Canyon rafting trip. He’s quite the adventurer! Have you done this?

Have you been to Scotland? I’m looking for a great itinerary for this spring.
Hi Robin!
Yes! I’ve been to Scotland and you reminded me that I’ve not shared my itinerary yet! We spend a few days in Edinburgh and Saint Andrews. I’ll put that on the top of the list for Wanderlust Wednesday. Meanwhile, feel free to ask me any questions!

Once our oldest hit middle and ow high school we started to realize our time as a family was limited so we have made family travel a priority and taken trips to: Legoland/Disneyland, San Antonio, Disneyworld/Univ. Studios, Grand Canyon/Carlsbad, Durango/Mesa Verde, Maui, Washington DC, NYC/Niagara Falls, Seattle/Victoria, one Royal Caribbean Cruise (Cozumel/Grand Cayman/Jamaica), Yellowstone/Jackson Hole, Charleston, Big Bend, London/Bath, Tahoe/Yosemite and New Orleans. Our next family trip is to Rome in May.
What wonderful trips! Creating memories through travel is a priority for our family as well. I hope my family trip post to Rome is helpful to you. It was such a fabulous trip together. Please let me know if I can answer any questions or help at all. It was probably our favorite family trip to date! Definitely do the Vespa tour with My Best Tour. It as an amazing way to get the lay of the land and start to our stay in Rome!
