Travel Style

When it comes to what I wear on flights, comfort is always key whether I’m hitting the ground running or just want to look chic for a long flight.  This set is a go to for me for any flight, long or short.  It’s lightweight but cozy and still chic.  I’ve been living in both the black and gray versions for running errands since the weather turned cool and have gotten so many compliments on them.  I also love these pants paired with a blazer when I will keep moving once I land.  I’ve linked other great travel style pieces that make great gifts in the boutique below.  You can see more travel style favorites here.

Carry On Bags, Weekenders and Suitcases

If you’ve followed me long, you know I’m a carry-on gal!  My husband is a big Tumi fan and they are having a big sale! I’m in need of a new carry-on suitcase and this is at the top of my list.  For men, a nice this suitcase is a great option.  This one is my husband’s favorite and currently 20% off!  You can get more inspiration for the guys on your list on my Gift Guide for Him and Teens and College Age. When packing in a carry on, a steamer is a must! This is my favorite for domestic and international trips.  It is small but mighty!

This MZ Wallace bag is a must for efficient packing in only carry on bags. I LOVE it! It is tear-proof and can be packed for an extra bag to fill with souvenirs. Because of its soft sides, it’s a great second carry-on item because you can stuff it full!  You can see how I pack for a week in a carry on using this bag. 

A classic leather weekender would be a fabulous gift.  I love that this one can be monogrammed in several different ways.  The Trapunto stitch monogram is my favorite.  This Barrington bag is another great weekender option. It comes in a ton of colors/prints and can be personalized. Inflight Comfort

Wearing the right outfit and layers is key to inflight comfort!  Most often you’ll find me in this comfortable and stylish set of this top and pants.  I’ll wear an easy white t to layer under the top.  I love this set so much I have it in 4 colors!  On our flight to Italy I wanted to arrive looking chic and the weather was going to be warm when we arrived so I wore this fabulous dress. The fabric is great for travel and packs like a dream.  I’ll be wearing it in red on our trip next week! My favorite travel outfits can all be found here.

Getting comfortable on a plane can be difficult for some people. So give them something that will help! I never travel without a wrap and these two are my favorites.  This wrap comes with it’s own matching pouch and it light but warm.  I take it when I might need a lighter later in the evenings as well. This new luxy cashmere wrap is so soft, high-quality, and keeps me warm on the airport and plane! Mersea Wraps are continually best sellers each year!

Consider this amazing sleep mask. It’s soooo good! We all have this one in a different color and LOVE it!  I use it when I’m sleeping in at home not just for travel.  This one with the eyelash protection is my new favorite! This set with eyelash serum is a great gift! Great headphones or the noise canceling AirPods are perfect for travel.  I love a down travel pillow to use on the plane and at my destination. Either will definitely help keep your traveler comfortable.
