I love to share new brands with you and today I’m turning the Brand Spotlight to MERSEA.  I’ve featured many of MERSEA’s fabulous styles over the years and they are always best sellers.  So today, a deeper dive on MERSEA.

Founded in 2013 by friends Melanie Bolin and Lina Dickinson, MERSEA focused on luxury travel items and creating scents evoked memories of different destinations.  I first discovered MERSEA through their different fragrance and body products and gave them as gifts often only to learn they were based in my adopted hometown of Kansas City and my parents and husband knew Lina!  What a small world!

What began as a passion to share luxe travel accessories and self-care products has evolved into ethically sourced clothing and accessories that go where you want to go.  MERSEA is well-known for one of their very first products, the Travel Wraps that are continually a best seller on all my gift guides and an overall best seller each year.  These luxe travel wraps make great gifts and come in a matching knit bag making it perfect to throw in your carry-on tote for chilly plane rides and to wear during your travels.

MERSEA/s offerings have grown from candles, travel wraps and their best-selling Catalina sweater to more home and accessories and a full ready-to-wear line and denim that launched in 2023.

MERSEA Black Silky Off-the-Shoulder Ibiza Dress / MERSEA Medium Medina Market Basket / Black Sandals

This is the perfect LBD for Spring and Summer with it’s light and airy silky fabric.  I’ll be packing it for several trips this summer as it is so easy to dress up like I’ve styled it here or wear with sneakers for a stylish day of sightseeing.  It will also take up almost no room in my suitcase!  I’ve styled it here with the MERSEA Medina Market bag in Medium.  These beautiful basket bags are made exclusively for MERSEA in Morocco and feature beautiful leather trim.

Gray Geometric Print Shirt Dress / MERSEA Medium Medina Market Basket

Classic shirt dresses are a wardrobe must have, especially designs like this one that are easy to dress up or down with a change of accessories and bag.  The fabric is light and this great print is almost seasonless.

Chambray Shift Dress / Chambray Peacoat / Similar Sandals / Bag

I’ve already worn this chambray dress several times!  It is an easy way to look pulled together for whatever the day holds.  The chambray peacoat is a great summer weight jacket and will be a go-to for us all.  It’s also great paired with their denim below.

MERSEA Light Wash Denim

The MERSEA Nomad is my new favorite denim – hands down!  I don’t share jeans often because I haven’t found many I love and MERSEA has denim nailed.  The perfect fit: designed to hold it’s shape AND Yours! Four-way stretch technology has perfect amount of stretch and is designed with travel in mind, of course!  These jeans fit true to size and I have them in several washes.  I love this one for Spring.
