Lilly Pulitzer Rae Dress // Custom Lucite Clutch // Stuart Weitzman Nudistsong Sandals

This summer I have few trips with my husband for work and fun and needed a summer cocktail dress.  I can’t wait to wear this gorgeous blue dress and will be wearing it tonight, too, to celebrate his birthday!

I’ve been eyeing this blue beauty since I picked up this pink dress (also in white) for Spring Break in Sea Island. I’ll be sharing the details of that fun trip later this week.  It is the same fabric but in a completely different style. I love that it has a bit of an edge to it with the strapless cut but with sheer overlay at the neckline.

Would you ever guess it’s Lilly Pulitzer? I was surprised other than it was hanging in the Lilly section at Saint Bernard. The vibrant color makes is fresh and fun for summer. The fabric and cut make it sophisticated, too.  Finding a dress under $200 is also a bonus.  This dress runs a bit small like the pink one so if you have a fuller bust definitely size up one.  I’m a 0 or XS and 32B and wearing the XS in this dress.  It also comes in white.

This this and this would also be a great options for summer cocktails.  This one from my Easter post would also be a great summer cocktail dress and also perfect for a bride.  It’s great that you can be a Lilly lover even if you are more of a solid girl like me.
