It’s a well-known fact that I am a dress girl. For me, it’s mostly because it’s a one and done decision! I am not a morning person and so having one great item I can slip on quickly and get out the door is a winner! I’ve shared a full round up of casual day dresses for Fall in a boutique below.
As we all settle into Fall schedules (which are probably ever-changing like ours!), I thought a quick round up of throw on and go dresses would be a good idea. These are the pieces I’m eyeing and buying for everything from running errands and volunteer meetings to lunch with friends.

Shirt dresses are my favorite go-to for Fall. They are a quick easy way to look chic and pulled together. This light fabric with a muted tone print is perfect for Fall as the temps are still warm and great with a sweater or jacket as they cool off.
Army Green Mini Dress / Brown Belt / Similar Wedge Espadrille Sandal / Bag
This easy dress is a favorite for warm casual days as well! I have it in several colors and always get compliments on it!.
This is the true workhorse of casual Fall dresses for me. It’s what I have thrown on for everything from carpools and errands to casual lunch with friends and entertaining at the lake. I just looked and I’ve had this dress for 4 years and it still looks new! That says something for the quality for certain! I got stopped in a store on Saturday by a gal who has been eyeing it and I told her it’s the best dress. It comes in several other colors as well. I’ve ordered the green and am eyeing the tan! It’s that good!
Denim Dress with Puffy Sleeves / Tan Sandals
I know I have shared this a few times but I love this little dress! It is super flattering and holds it’s shape in the heat we still have right now. Add a sweater over your shoulders as it cools off for a layered look.
Corduroy Shift Dress in new Green shade / Tall Brown Boots / Brown Leather Handbag
The style is easy to wear and flattering. It was a best seller in 2022 in Delft blue and last year in Forest Green. It’s a great dress for casual day with flats or dressier with boots. I’d also love it with a sweater over your shoulders and sneakers! This dress fits true to size. I’m wearing an XS.
Havana Indigo Midi Dress in Navy / Brown Belt / Stud Quilted Wedge Espadrille Sandal

This has been a go-to for me this Fall. It is equally good with boots like I have styled here or sneakers and cardigan sweater. The midi dress length is also a great dress for Fall with a jacket or cardigan.
