I’ve been waiting to share this great recipe with you! This Cherry Clove Cabernet Glaze on Beef Tenderloin is the perfect centerpiece for your Christmas menu. It’s so easy and delicious, it will be come a go-to recipe for more than just the holidays!
The rich combination of flavors tastes like the holidays on your fork! The tangy cherries, spicy cloves and ruby cabernet combine to make the most amazing flavor. How did I get this fabulous combination right? Well, my friend (and bookkeeper!) Stephanie Magilow created the most wonderful gourmet jams called Jammit Jams and Cherry Clove Cabernet is just one of her special flavors.
Stephanie is a Dallas foodie who turned a hobby in to a business. Jammit Jam creates gourmet spreadable fruit using seasonal, whole-fruit, natural raw cane sugar, herbs or spices, and a splash of libation. Talk about great flavors!
My simple marinade adds a bit of flavor and ensures a moist and tender steak. A little time on the grill and then glaze with the Cherry Clove Cabernet Jammit Jam, and your family will ask for this dish again and again!
- 4-6 lb beef tenderloin
- 1 cup orange juice
- ¼ cup Worchestershire Sauce
- 4 tbs olive oil
- 1 jar Cherry Clove Cabernet Jammit Jam
- Add the orange juice, Worchestershire sauce and olive oil to a resealable plastic bag.
- Add the beef tenderloin and marinate 2 hours to overnight.
- Grill on your Green Egg or favorite grill at 350* for 40-45 minutes or until the thickest part measures 135* for medium and 145* for medium well.
- Place ½ jar of Cherry Clove Cabernet jam in a microwavable bowl and add 2 tbs water.
- Heat until melted.
- Remove from the grill and cover in foil to rest for 10 minutes.
- This will seal in the juices.
- Glaze with the Cherry Clove Cabernet Jam, slice and serve.
