Since we redecorated our family room this spring with white navy and hot pink, I’ve been thinking about how to make it look a little cozy for the holidays.  While I love the bright pink, it’s not very cozy home decor for cooler temps.  I’m partnering with Nordstrom and Ugg today to do just that.

I always think of Ugg for cozy boots and great shearling pieces like I showed you here.  But did you know they have a beautiful Home Collection, too?  Their entire collection is available at Nordstrom.

The shaggy cashmere pillows add just the right amount of softness, texture and style to my sofa.  While I am styling these for “winter” I would actually use them year-round and have a gray cashmere pillow on the bed in my guest room and one in my kitchen.  I could have them everywhere!

Another great touch is to make your home cozy for the holidays is a lush throw draped on either the sofa or chair.  I see this in almost every family room I see in magazines.  It is a great way to add color as well.  These Ugg throws are so amazingly soft.  My youngest daughter keeps taking it to her room! I love this rich navy and how it compliments the other decor in my family room.  I’ve also added a cream throw to the love seat in my breakfast room.  They would be a great gift and will be in one of my Gifts Guides that are all coming out tomorrow!

One of the things I try to share with you is simple ways to make your home and holidays enjoyable.  Making simple changes to your home can make a big difference!  I hope this inspires you to add a bit of cozy style to your home for the holidays.
