That’s one reason why clean beauty is so important to me! Being passionate about clean beauty, I’m so excited to share and educate you when I find a new brand like Silk Therapeutics!

C Advance / Eye Revive / Nurture+ / Renewing Peel

I first discovered Silk Therapeutics a few years ago on Instagram and have been a fan of their products ever since. While most skincare products contain 20+ ingredients, theirs are made with just 12 or fewer. I’m sharing more about this unique brand and my thoughts on some of their best selling products below!

Silk Therapeutics™ is a boutique anti-aging and body line, pioneering the benefits of their patented technology: pure liquid silk. Silk protein, the primary active ingredient in all their products, promotes healthy, radiant skin while firming and smoothing.

Using pure silk reduces the need for stabilizers, emulsifiers, fillers and harsh preservatives, allowing products to be created with minimal ingredients, which makes Silk Therapeutics the cleanest, performance-based skincare collection on the market today. Eye Revive, a brightening and firming eye treatment, has really cool technology.  Silk Microcapsules are used to stabilize the Vitamin C + caffeine in this 7 ingredient eye cream.  Your light touch breaks them open to deliver the active ingredients right where you want them…on your skin not in the jar.

The C Advance, an unscented anti-again intensive serum, contains a high-dose of Vitamin C (10%). Silk protein works to stabilize and deliver this active ingredient to diminish the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. C Advance manages skin tone while brightening and firming the skin.

Nurture+ is a daily moisturizer with the added anti-aging benefits of activated liquid silk, vitamin E and powerful anti-oxidants replenishes and hydrates, immediately improving the feel of your skin. For combination and normal skin, including sensitive skin.

My very favorite of this line is the Silk Therapeutics Renewing Peel.  This weekly treatment gently yet effectively exfoliates the outermost layer to reveal a brighter, more vibrant complexion while diminishing the appearance of fine lines. The peel results in tighter, smoother more supple skin, and gives the complexion a fresh, radiant glow.

Silk Therapeutics was founded by two friends and silk scientists: Gregory Altman and Rebecca Lacouture, who is also an ovarian cancer survivor.  “At Silk Therapeutics we define the notion that every ingredient in the bottle must play a definitive role in enhancing skin.
