Elegant Christmas Tablescape
My Top (Sold Out, Similar Here) / Salad Plate (similar) / Charger (Similar Here) / Napkin / Napkin Rings / Hurricanes / Runner
Can you believe that Christmas is only 3 weeks away? Last month, I told you I’d be sending you tips and tricks to help you save time and money for the holiday season. I hope my Gift Guides and Sale Alerts have been doing just that. Today, I’m showing you my Easy and Elegant Christmas Tablescape…the sister to my Thanksgiving Tablescape.
I’ve created an entirely new look but using many of the key pieces of the decor from Thanksgiving. You’ll see that I used the same hurricanes, candles, runner, plates, salad plates (similar), napkins, flatware (30% off right now!) and wine glasses. I added red chargers (similar), different silver napkin rings, greenery and cranberries. A few small changes resulting in a very different look for an elegant Christmas tablescape. The gorgeous salad plates sold out but these are very similar and even more versatile. I only had 8 of my monogrammed napkin rings so I tied the satin ribbon I used in the centerpiece on the host and hostess place settings. Another great tip!
For most of the photos I did use another napkin I had because I shot this just three days after Thanksgiving and my gray napkins weren’t back from the dry cleaners yet…
Using table runners is a great way to add dimension and color to your table without much cost. This one with natural fibers has a bit of lurex in it for a hint of shine. It is now 1/2 off and only $12! (My table is extra long so I had to use two.)
My greenery is prewired with the red berries and pinecones from Nicholson-Hardie in Dallas. They have the best selection in town for the holidays and truly year-round. (Not an ad but the truth!)
I hope you are enjoying the holiday season. I’ll sharing a lot more in the way of menus, sale alerts, fashion tips and of course, Gift Guides. I’m updating them on a daily basis as I find new things and as items sell out so be sure to check back often and also follow me on Instagram for more behind the scenes info and sale alerts.
