My Look: Sweater // Pants // Handbag // Shoes // Sunglasses // Bracelets
Tanya’s Look: Top // Jacket // Jeans // Shoes // Sunglasses // Handbag
What a great time I had at my first NYFW! It was fun and fast paced. I had a great time with our group including my friend of almost 20 years and blogger bestie, Tanya Foster. This combo of fall neutrals was one of my favorites all week.
It was not what I had intended to wear, however. I had ordered this great white shirt but it didn’t arrive on time (and when it did it was too big!). So what’s a girl to do in NYC? Go shopping! I ran into , one of my favorite designers and best place I know for fall neutrals and classic designs. I immediately found this sweater. Both pieces will be something I wear often. My goal for NYFW wasn’t to break out some great street style I’d never wear and get photographed (like this darling girl seated next to me at a show) but to wear what I’d wear at home but amped up a bit. These camo shoes did that for me. They are 50% off right now so don’t hesitate to add these statement shoes to your closet.
I can’t tell you how much I love these J Brand cargo pants. They are actually the second pair I own. The first pair I purchased about 6 years ago and are the most worn pants in my closet. They are a lighter shade and still look great after what must be 1,000 wears. I get compliments every time I wear them. Every. Single. Time. If you buy one pair of pants this fall, buy these. They fit true to size.
The winter white Longchamp my husband gave me for Mother’s Day is still my go to for fall. I love that it has a strap and becomes a cross-body bag when needed. It also fits the current trend of a top handle bag as well. Love a two-for-0ne!
I learned so much at NYFW and loved seeing the trends for Spring Summer 2017. I’ll give you a full recap of my schedule, overall impressions and what I wore next week.
TGIF! Hope you have a great weekend!
