It’s where we come together to celebrate the true reason for the season and all that we have to be thankful for. Christmas Morning Breakfast Table
Winter Frolic Dinner Plate / Winter Frolic Mug / Winter Frolic Celebration Centerpiece Bowl / AWL x Rosanne Beck Paper Placemat / AWL x Rosanne Beck Place Cards / Similar Red Edge Napkin
This sweet table is one I just set with fun pieces from the AWL x Rosanne Beck Holiday Collection. I absolutely love the paper placemats with Christmas topiaries. You can see them above on my holiday masthead for the website, too! There are matching placecards as well. These placemats come in a pad of 20 and we’ve loved using them this month. You’ll see this dinnerware pattern below as well.
Frosty Winter Frolic Tablescape
Winter Frolic Dinner Plate / Winter Frolic Celebration Centerpiece Bowl / Reindeer Games Comfort Bowls / Petwer Soup Bowl / Similar Silver Charger / Stainless Flatware / Red Napkins / Amalia White Wine and Red Wine Glasses / Juliska Berry and Thread Hurricanes / Dining Chairs See original post here
I have long loved this beautiful Christmas pattern so I was thrilled to partner with Juliska this Frosty Winter Frolic Tablescape. Juliska’s Winter Frolic pattern is full of joy and whimsy. We don’t get a lot of snow in the winter so I can only imagine some of these precious scenes!
Winter Frolic in Ruby is the sister pattern to the Country Estate in Delft Blue that I have featured on my Thanksgiving tablescapes. This pattern features charming scenes from a country estate during winter snowfall. The red is the perfect shade of Christmas red.
The piece d’ resistance is the Celebration Centerpiece Bowl which I have used to create the centerpiece. This gorgeous piece is truly breathtaking in person. I hesitated to fill it with anything because the inside is highlighted with lyrics to traditional Christmas carols with beautiful heraldry. This would make a wonderful gift for someone who entertains. I filled it with individually potted white cyclamen, one of my favorite winter flowers, and fluffy green reindeer moss. I highlighted it with a few pieces from my collection of mercury glass ornaments that you have seen featured on my tree in the family room. Using simple elements you can still create a beautiful centerpiece. You could also use your silver punch bowl or a champagne bucket for the same effect!
Elegant Christmas Tablescape
Dinner Plate / Similar Salad Plate / Similar Red Charger / Similar Red Edge Napkin / Napkin Rings / Hurricanes / Similar Woven Table Runner See original post here
I’ve created an entirely new look for this table using many of the key pieces of the tablesetting from my Thanksgiving tablescape that year. I used the same hurricanes, candles, runner, plates, salad plates (similar), napkins, flatware, and wine glasses. I addedRed Chargers , different silver napkin rings, greenery and cranberries. A few small changes resulting in a very different look for an elegant Christmas tablescape. The gorgeous salad plates sold out but these are very similar and even more versatile. I only had 8 of my monogrammed napkin rings so I tied the satin ribbon I used in the centerpiece on the host and hostess place settings. Another great tip!
Elegant Silver and Gold Christmas Tablescape
Juliska Isadora Round Placemat / Juliska Firenze Charger / Juliska Puro Platinum Dinner Plate (Similar Here) / Juliska Firenze Salad Plate / Dogwood Hill Designs Napkins / Juliska Metallic Bead Bouquet Napkin Ring (Similar Juliska Napkin Ring Here) / Large Mercury Glass Tree / Medium Mercury Glass Tree / Small Mercury Glass Tree / London Glass Hurricane / Grand Baroque Sterling Silver Flatware See original post here
Several of these tablescapes feature traditional red and green but don’t be afraid to mix it up a bit and create a glamorous gold and silver tablescape as well! This Elegant Gold and Silver Christmas Tablescape I created last year is a shimmery table that features my heirloom silver.
There are so many beautiful details it’s hard to decide where to start. The inspiration for this table began with Juliska’s Firenze pattern in gold and silver. I have long admired this beautiful pattern. The movement of the design and the shimmer of the metallic details are gorgeous. This colorway of this special pattern comes in chargers and salad plates. The dinner plates are Juliska’s new Puro Platinum pattern Dinner Plates. This beautiful pattern is a great cross over look with fine china but is more substantial and is dishwasher safe! The wine glasses are Juliska’s Amalia pattern.
The centerpiece features a true staple in my party closet with the large glass hurricane. You’ve seen this versatile glass piece on tablescapes here and here and also a pair on my mantle here and here. To create this centerpiece, I added a small cylinder vase to the center filled with water and then carefully placed tiny gold, silver and iridescent glass ornaments from the craft store that match my Christmas tree. I topped these with Dendrobium orchid’s that I ordered from the florist. It would be equally beautiful with white hydrangea and a mix of other white flowers.
One of the main reasons I chose a gold and silver tablescape this year is the opportunity to encourage us all to use our “good silver” and to honor my mother-in-law who recently passed away. She was the one who made sure we received all our Sterling Silver place settings and gifted them to me each Christmas and birthday for the first few years we were married. She also gave the girls and me her amazing collection of Sterling Silver including the gorgeous candlesticks and tea service. I treasure all of these gifts from her.
A Sweet Christmas Table

This year the feature elements are the darling, hand-painted Winter Frolic Party Plates. These are dual purpose Hors d’oeuvres/Salad/Dessert plates each featuring a beautiful winter scene from a fairytale country estate. My favorite might be the Garden Conservatory scene. You’ll notice that I used the gorgeous silver swirled placemats you’ve seen at Easter and also Thanksgiving. They are really so versatile! Next is my, my everyday Juliska Berry and Thread dinner plates topped with the Winter Frolic plates. The napkins were also seen In a previous Christmas table.
The centerpiece is created from a large and small Juliska cake stand stacked and surrounded by two centerpiece swags from Gracious Garlands. I made a large satin bow for each side. The most festive part of this centerpiece are the cookies from my friend Reggie aka The Highland Park Pie Lady. These are so darling and so delicious!
I topped the cake stands with this beautiful Wood Shaving Rose Tree. It was a happy accident because another item I ordered hadn’t arrived and I spotted this on a desperate run to Target. I picked up two large rose trees for the side tables to add a bit more festive red to the room. The rose trees are currently sold out but you could achieve the same look with these berry trees!
I hope you are inspired to create a beautiful tablescape with your favorite Christmas patterns and decorations. I know you’ll create beautiful memories as well!
