I love my skin after a visit to the spa and always wish I could re-create that look and feel at home. I have finally perfected Five Steps for an Anti-Aging Facial at Home that I want to share with you today.
I’ve been using this combination of Five Steps for an Anti-Aging Facial at Home weekly for several weeks. As wonderful as it is to visit the spa, it is time consuming and cost prohibitive for me to do so on a weekly basis! I have re-created that same look and feel for my skin using these high performing products and easy steps.
Five Steps for an Anti-Aging Facial at Home
Step 1: Cleanse with The Balance from BeautyBio. This mild cleanser removes make up and leaves no residue behind. Your skin is clean but not stripped of moisture. The perfect Ph balance which is how it got it’s name!
Step 2: Apply a Peel by using the new Glycolic Acid Peel Pads with Blue Agave from Colleen Rothschild. These spa strength treatment pads help remove any remaining make up or oil that can clog your skin. The blend of glycolic and lactic acids targets fine lines, hyper-pigmentation and other imperfections leaving your skin brighter and more even. The blue agave, sea water and comfrey extracts soothe and calm your skin while the hyaluronic acid hydrates and protects your skin’s moisture barrier.
Step 3: Microneedling treatment with the BeautyBio GloPro. This is part of my nighttime skin care routine 3 to 5 nights per week. It stimulates collagen and creates micro-channels in your skin allowing serums and moisturizers to penetrate more deeply.
Step 4: Treat by appling the Beautycounter Countertime Tripeptide Radiance Serum. This serum contains a powerful blend of peptides, amino acids and retinanatural plant-derived complex from Bakuchiol. Bakuchiol has been shown to provide skin care results comparable to retinol without the harmful side effects including skin irritation and peeling and sun sensitivity. Swiss Alpine Rose boosts the skins antioxidant defense. The tripeptide blend works to boost skin’s visible firmness and minimize the look of fine lines and wrinkles while keeping the skin plump and hydrated. At my last facial, Bakuchiol is what the aesthetician called “Botox in a bottle.” Um, yes, please!
Step 5: The final Step is applying Beautycounter’s Countertime Tetrapeptides Supreme Cream. This rich hydrating cream is my new holy grail moisturizer! The first time I used this I couldn’t believe how velvety soft my skin stayed for 24 hours! I used it one evening and then the next morning was working from home, so I didn’t get ready until after afternoon carpool for we had an event that night. I couldn’t get over how hydrated and refreshed my skin looked all day long without applying any other product. The Supreme Cream also contains the Bakuchiol ingredient and a tetrapeptide blend.
There you have it. Five quick and easy steps to a fabulous anti-aging at home facial. Let me know if you have tried these products and what you think. Have you used a product with Bakuchiol yet? I hope you’ll try the whole system and come back and let me know how much you love it also!
Also, if you’ve not completed the Reader Style Survey I shared last week, I sure hope you will! Every day there are a lot of new entries so I’m leaving it open until Saturday. I’ll draw two winners for the $200 gift cards and announce them in the newsletter Monday, January 27 so be sure to register to see if you are a winner. I truly appreciate all the input you are sharing with me. I want AWL to be a place of inspiration to you and these new projects meet a need and your insight is so helpful!
Here’s to a fabulous anti-aging facial at home!
