One of my favorite holiday traditions is setting the table. Whether you are having a formal meal or serving buffet style like we do, there is something special about sitting down at a beautiful table. One of my goals with The Lush List is to always show you things to inspire you because you can actually recreate it – not create more pressure for you. I designed this Thanksgiving Tablescape with Juliska’s Forest Walk with that in mind.
This table is all about simple layers and is inspired by the Forest Walk design. I love the feather and antler accents of this design. I’ve used the salad plates with my everyday White Berry and Thread dinner plate. They actually call these Party Plates which is a great name truly. I also used them at a birthday brunch on Monday with the antler trimmed mugs.
The Forest Walk collection also has dinner plates, serving bowls and platters as well as napkins and a gorgeous tureen. These mix so beautifully with the pewter stoneware tureen and soup bowls you’ve seen here. I love to mix patterns. I also love how Juliska is thoughtful and created pieces that can be easily mixed together.
You’ll recognize the scroll placemats from this last year’s Christmas tablescape and the napkins from last year’s Thanksgiving tablescape. Mine are now sold out but these are similar. I just added to the birch candles from last year as well and wove them into the magnolia garland. If you don’t want more candles, you can certainly use the hurricanes from the past tablescapes and it would be equally beautiful. Again, my goal is to inspire you by using things you may already have or have purchased from other designs I presented. That’s what I do!
I love this gorgeous magnolia garland from Gracious Garlands and how it perfectly accents the woodland theme with the lush green leaves with deep rusty brown velvet backs. I have the coordinating wreath on my door and it is so fantastic. I used the leaves to create a place for the candles to rest.
Olivewood coasters provide a landing spot for these beautiful Amalia Wine Glasses. I love the rope swirl detail and glass berry that coordinate so well with my Berry and Thread dishes. The coasters add another layer and dimension to the table.
