With holiday entertaining in full swing I wanted to share this tip for easy entertaining.  Last week, I shared with you the ease of serving the Jose Cuervo Golden Margarita^®  at a holiday party.  Today, I want to give you the details on how I added a bit of a special touch to make it festive!  Presentation is everything, right!?!

We had a great time laughing and catching up at my impromptu happy hour with simple recipes.  Everyone loved the beautiful way I served the margaritas.  Creating a festive garnish for the ready-to-drink Jose Cuervo Golden Margarita was a fun challenge for me.

The day before, I put two bags of fresh cranberries into the freezer.  Using frozen frozen cranberries in a cocktail helps to maintain temperature and not dilute your drink.  It’s a pretty garnish with a purpose!

To serve the drinks, I rimmed the glasses in coarse salt (my preference!) by using a fresh orange slice and then dipping the rim in the salt.  Next, add a layer of ice, then a few frozen cranberries, fill the glass with ice and finish with a few more frozen cranberries.  Pour Jose Cuervo Golden Margarita over the ice and cranberries and top with an orange twist.

I greeted my guests with these delicious drinks at the door on a beautiful silver tray.  Serving this ready-to-drink margarita leaves so much more time for enjoying great conversation and time with friends and family.  I’ll be serving them again this weekend at a pre-Christmas family gathering.  They’ll be great with our traditional tamale dinner on Christmas Eve.
