When we remodeled about a year ago, my goal was to get totally organized when we first moved in. I started really well. Pinterest boards were created for for every room with tons of details. I had designed the kitchen to the Nth degree…writing on the plan where everything would go and adding multiple shelves in cabinets so baking dishes didn’t have to stack and cutting boards and baking sheets were easily accessible.
The Container Store, one of my favorite places, was top on my list moving week. I could spend many hours and thousands of dollars here. Don’t get me wrong. I have piles of things and lots of unorganized spaces but I do love how it all feels and looks once it’s done. That visual thing, remember? Plus, my husband says it’s his love language. LOL!
In the kitchen drawers we used the great bamboo dividers and silverware tray as well as this expandable tray for our “junk” drawer. Where do all those keys and pens come from?!?!
It is so nice to have all my cooking utensils organized and readily available.
Then….came the holidays and life and care-free summer and well, we just finished another holiday season. Time to get back to getting organized. One of my New Year’s Resets I’ve shared before.
The drawers in our master bath have been driving me crazy. I love all kinds of products and the cute samples they send you home with. They had become quite a mess in a year.
Why is a watch in this drawer? Did I really just show you my mess?!?! Time to hit The Container Store again. Yea!
I used the same line of bamboo organizers I used in the kitchen in the bath. They also make these stacking trays that come in many different sizes.
I think they turned out great! Finding my things and getting ready is so much easier.
All my facial, make up and hair products organized and easily accessible when I’m in a rush. Which is most of the time, unfortunately. Maybe forcing myself to be unhurried should have been on my Reset list….maybe it’s not too late to add!
I’d love to know how you organize and what is next on your list. The closet and my office closet are on mine. Stay tuned.
Happy organizing!
