Good Chilly Monday Morning! “It’s All Good” because there’s a great reason to get out in the cold… goop pop DALLAS opens today at 10am in Highland Park Village.
goop is the lifestyle and e-commerce brand developed by Gwyneth Paltrow. Her second cookbook “It’s All Good” is in my reading stack. Yes, I read cookbooks…
goop pop Dallas is a month-long shopping experience and will introduce the company’s newest designer collaboration, Monique Lhuillier x goop. A capsule collection of exclusive party pieces perfect for the holiday season will be available in-store from both ML by Monique Lhuillier and Collection. Monique Lhuillier fans nationwide will also have the opportunity to purchase from the exclusive collection online at goop.
“Monique Lhuillier x goop is the answer to easy, chic holiday and cocktail dressing,” said Monique Lhuillier. “The collection is all about our modern take on day to evening looks, focusing on separates and pops of color to make the perfect statement.”
Designed in collaboration with Dallas’s own Michelle Nussbaumer, international interior designer and owner of Ceylon et Cie, goop will feature special lifestyle programming including an evening with Dallas Native Taylor Tomasi Hill featuring her TTH Blooms flower cart, shopping parties with local talent and influencers including Highland Park Village’s Elisa Hill Summers and Heather Hill Washburne and the aforementioned Nussbaumer.
“It has been a fabulous journey designing this space for goop’s first pop-up in Texas” said Michelle Nussbaumer. “Ceylon et Cie x goop custom pieces were used throughout to create the goop vibe while also speaking to Dallas on an intimate level. I envision people lounging around the shoppable pied-a-terre with a cocktail in hand this season.”
Featuring shades of pale pink and grey, the space is designed to reflect the goop brand while highlighting Nussbaumer’s aesthetic. Anchored by a pagoda daybed flanked by two Belgian-painted Bliss Studio chests, the shop features walls adorned by Andrew Martin of London wallpaper, Michelle Nussbaumer Sultana wallpaper as well as Gracie screens custom-made for the space. Additional elements include a mohair rug from The Rug Company in the main room, reclaimed wood and galvanized steel that blend the traditional with the industrial, and changing rooms featuring a full-length mirrored vanity, crystal chandelier and steel shelving.
Guests will also find Paltrow selected items from Stella McCartney, Bramford Watch Department, Jennifer Fisher Jewelry, Jennifer Meyer Jewelry, Claire Vivier, RMS Beauty and Staub Kitchenware. In addition, all furniture and décor items will be available for sale from goop pop Dallas, allowing visitors the unique opportunity to take home a piece of the pop-up.
The neighboring coffee shop, Number One, will be serving a menu inspired by “It’s All Good.” And you know how I love a good soup. The Spicy Sweet Potato Soup with Chipolte + Coriander will certainly warm my bones today. I’ll see you there!
goop pop Dallas will be open beginning today through December 14. Hours will be 10a – 6p Monday-Saturday and Sunday Noon – 5p.
