Ok. I’m letting you in on a little secret today. You know that I LOVE a designer handbag. I blame that on my mother and grandfather and their great gifts which I’ve shared with you before. Today, I’m sharing one of my favorite places to find a great bag without breaking the bank, Clotheshorse Anonymous.
You won’t believe the details on this beautiful Ralph Lauren Ricky Bag in soft Truffle leather I just found at Clotheshorse last week. This bag is the iconic bag Ralph Lauren named after his beloved wife, Ricky. Originally retailing for $2,750 and currently on his website for that amount, this bag was at Clotheshorse for only $488! Yes, about 1/6 the original price. This bag is new with tags, the crossbody strap and dustcover. I’ve shown you both ways to style this bag in the photos.
Clotheshorse is where I have taken my clothes for resale for years. Also all my samples from when I was a stylist for a clothing company. When I drop off, I always swing through the store to see what is new. They put new items out every day. They are also the resale boutique of choice for high-end retailers in town to take their items as well. Not naming names, but I’m sure you can guess. That is probably where this bag came from. There was a navy one, too.
The specialists at Clotheshorse are very particular in the merchandise they take in and are very knowledgeable about all of their products and the designers. They only take items that are in pristine condition. And, of course, items that still have their tags on them like this bag! Ranging from Tory Burch and Frame Denim to Chanel and Hermes, they have it all.
Merchandise moves quickly especially the designer items but putting them on your regular route every week or so is the best way to find something you’ll love. I know I always do!
Thank you to Clotheshorse Anonymous for sponsoring this post. All opinions and selections are my own.
