I love a good cookbook. I read them like a novel…cover to cover…all at one sitting…if they are good. Well, this one is that good! It’s All Easy, Gwyneth Paltrow’s new book is all easy and all good. I received it the day it was released and could wait to open it. Who doesn’t want “ Delicious weekday recipes for the Super-busy home cook,” right?!?! I truly turned through the entire book the minute I opened it. Traditionally, if I find 3 or 4 recipes in a cookbook I think it’s pretty good. If there are 7-10 recipes in a cookbook, I consider it an great purchase. I mean, no one likes every recipe in a cookbook. And if you have food allergies, forget it. The bar is even lower.
This book is a FANTASTIC collection of recipes. I have already made 3 of them and everyone ate every bite. The 3 Mustard Chicken was moist and super easy as promised. The Asian-Steamed Halibut with Scallions & Bok Choy was a huge hit. I made it another time with broccoli for kids and tried Brussles sprouts for adults and it great, too.
There are recipes to take along with you to soccer or baseball games (or picnics this summer), make ahead for quick assembly and a few that teach you easy techniques you can use for your favorite ingredients like the Halibut I mentioned above.
I definitely recommend purchasing It’s All Easy asap. You’ll be so glad you did.
Here are a few tools I recommend to have on hand for making these delicious dishes
It’s on my list!
