I’m excited to share an update here on our lake house, Still Waters, with you here today!  We’ve made a lot of changes to our little getaway since the last update here.

I share photos and videos when we are there on Instagram stories which is quick and easy.  These take a bit longer to put together!  I’m waiting for a few more pieces of art, a tile installation and a last decor details and then I’ll have it professionally photographed and share before and afters of each room.  Oh! And we finally start the landscape planning and install this Fall.  That makes me soooo happy!

I answered some of your most asked questions in the first Lake House Remodel post as well as a few photos and renderings of rooms that weren’t completely installed yet.  I’ll also be updating the lake house decor and details page.  My intent is to keep this updated that so you can always access the details of the home that I can link for you.  Be sure to visit the Lake House Remodel Before Photos and Lake House Mood Board for even more insight into this process.

My friend, Wendy at Wendy Cimorelli Designs has been a true lifesaver!  She has helped me with every selection, accessory and art.  I love her taste, style and couldn’t have done this without her!  I can’t wait until we get to work on my Dallas home….but that is for another time…hopefully in the Spring!

Living Room

We have added new pillows and a few accessories.  We also added blackout shades that we close when we leave to protect the furniture from all the great light we get in this room.

Dining Room

We changed the chairs to the ones I wanted originally and I LOVE them!  They weren’t available so I made a different choice and while they were great chairs, they just weren’t right for here.  I’m still thinking about if I want a rug here or not.  Art is from Wendy Cimorelli Designs.

I love this pretty welcome moment that you can see through the glass front door.

Powder Bath

We added more beautiful wallpaper to the powder bath.  It makes such an impact in the small space!  It is currently on sale!

There are so many pretty details in this room that I can’t wait to share more of!

Outdoor Living

I’ve shared this before but wanted to again her because the sofas and chairs are on sale right now!  I’m still on the hunt for the perfect coffee table.  Now that we are about to tear out the deck and redo it all, I’ll be waiting until we have the final design.

I’ll be sharing more updates very soon!  I need to take photos of the kitchen, bunk room, game room, study, sleeping loft and two more guest rooms to share with you very soon in another update.  My goal is to professionally photograph the entire house this Fall and share those amazing before and afters of each space!
