Recently, I updated our kitchen counter stools with the Serena and Lily’s beautiful Riviera Backless Counter Stools and they asked me to share our “Life at the Kitchen Counter” story with you today.

Like so many of you, the kitchen is the heart and hub of our home. When we remodeled our home six years ago, my dream was to have a really large kitchen island where our family could gather and many things could be going on at once while I cooked.

Whether the girls are painting and crafting or doing homework while I make dinner, it has been everything we wanted it to be. We’ve made our own Christmas wrapping paper here, baked countless Christmas cookies and during the holidays each girl and helps my mom make her famous dinner rolls. There of been countless nights with our whole family gathered around the kitchen counter laughing and talking and solving the problems of the world!

Every day after school and on weekends, our kitchen counter is the center of activity so our stools get A LOT of use!  I love the gray and white combination.  It highlights my silver and white decor perfectly.  I am a big fan of rattan and love the sturdy high-quality construction of these barstools.  When we have friends over, this is where everyone congregates so sturdy is a must!
