As I pack to chaperone my oldest daughters friends on a trip to DC made me think to share packing list for a city sightseeing trip as it is time to think of summer vacations if you have not already.
This would be a great list for touring any city – American, European or otherwise, where you will do a lot of walking and possibly changing hotels. Having clothing and accessories that interchange easily is key.
Here is my Packing Lush List for City Tours:
I like to take a few pair of my favorite jeans or cargo pants,
a several tops and tees and few accessories and scarves to switch it up things up.
I always pack this cute trench which comes in a tons of colors and is on sale now at St. Bernard Sports and a Northface. I’m taking a blazer for a few private tours.
Here are a few things I’m taking or wish I had thought of before today!
I’m taking a few of my spring staples from J.Crew: these tops, these pants in orchid and navy, these great Stella McCartney’s from Shopbop, my All-Stars, and these new Nikes that feel like walking on a cloud for days my feet have had it!
J.Crew has another great sale on spring essentials 25% off with the code SHOPNOW online through April 14 and 40% off sale.
In my travel gifts post at Christmas, I told you that a Longchamp is a must have for travel-lovers. They are foldable, easily packed and light weight. Nordstrom has all of their fabulous new colors and prints for spring.
I snagged this one last night. I have not hopped on the cross body bandwagon until now.
This and this were also in the running. They’re prints are so fun but you know I’m more of a solid girl.
Hope this is helpful to you
