Before I hit high gear in the kitchen and then attend Christmas Eve service at church with my family, I wanted to thank you all for following The Lush List. Your comments and support are so special to me and I am so grateful for each of you.
I’ve shared my gift lists and recipes but would be remiss if I didn’t let you know what Christmas means to me and my family. If you follow on Instagram or Facebook, you know I post favorite scriptures from the Bible. We believe that Jesus was born from a virgin, lived a perfect life and died on the cross for our sin so that we could have eternal life in heaven. He rose again on the third day and lives in heaven with God, our heavenly father.
Enjoy the video below. Our pastor is also an artist and created this several years ago. I love this song and have often wondered what Jesus’ mother Mary knew.

But he was pierced for our transgressions,
he was crushed for our iniquities;
the punishment that brought us peace was on him,
and by his wounds we are healed. – Isaiah 53:5
I hope each of you have a Merry Christmas and get to spend time with those you love.
Merry Christmas from my home to yours.
HI Alicia! Merry Christmas to you and your family! I have loved following your blog this year! We like a lot of the same things so…its right up my alley! You have a gift and thank you for sharing all of your wonderful ideas! I just made the most delicious GF cookies with cup 4 cup flour for my nephew to eat on Christmas Day. I think they are better than my recipe I have made for 20 years. I share your blog with so many people and they feel the same way I do! Please keep it up! I LOVE IT. Also, you have a platform to share God’s word with your followers and I know the post today from Jeff Warren will touch many lives! Thanks and Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!
Thank you, Shelly! I’d love to have your cookie recipe, too. Please email it to me. Merry Christmas to you and your family!
