We love creating memories through travel with our girls and as a couple. 2019 was a dream travel year. This is my 2020 Travel Bucket List!
My husband and I love to travel. We made a decision many years ago that travel was a priority for our family. Creating memories through travel with our girls and as a couple became our goal. These extended times together have brought many of our favorite family memories!
Although he still dreams of a lake home, for now, travel it is! When I shared my 2019 Travel Bucket List, I wasn’t sure of all we would do but what an amazing experiences we had! The opportunity to travel to South Africa with Natural World Safaris was a slight possibility last January that became a dream come true! We want to return to South Africa one day and take the girls. It is truly magical and captures a part of your heart. You can see these posts here and video on Instagram Stories.
With such a busy year with our oldest graduating and getting ready for college and other family circumstances, our goal for summer travel was relaxation and the Viceroy Sugar Beach delivered in spades! We would love to return!
And it’s hard to beat Telluride! We’ve been going for 16 years and it holds a special place in our hearts. All the girls learned to ski here and truly love it. Summer and Winter are both beautiful times to visit.
Below, I’ve shared my 2020 Travel Bucket List and a listing of the travel destinations I’ve covered on AWL in hopes of inspiring yours. I’ve linked to the posts on each destination to make it easy to check them out. Before you travel, be sure to check out my favorite Travel necessities you’ll need, too.
Our first stop each year seems to be Mexico for a couples trip. This is a time for much needed R and R and also when we do a lot of our planning! This year we went back to Punta Mita and our favorite there, the St. Regis. You can see more of our stay on Instagram Stories. For that matter, you can see most of these trips on Instagram and Instagram Stories.
I’d love to know your Travel Bucket List for 2020 and beyond! Have you been to any of these places? Let me know in the comments below. I’m always looking for new places to visit in this big beautiful world God created!
Bon voyage!

I will be happy to join you on any of these trips! Just give me a call 😉
Enjoying reading about your trips and seeing all the photos. It helps me to plan our bucket list. This year our bucket list is Deer Valley (spring break). We always did Whistler, but decided to try Deer Valley this year. We have Maui when school is out, LA to take our daughter to the Taylor Swift LoverFest concert and tying in fun things to do while there, San Diego for Thanksgiving, and London & Paris for the Christmas holiday break. Now to take in your previous trips and figure out where to go 2021. Keep traveling and posting 🙂
Thanks, LC! What a wonderful plan you have for the year! I have posts on London and Paris if you need suggestions for that trip. If you have questions about LA/Malibu area, I’m happy to help. I need to get that itinerary posted as well!
