I’m all about cozy and easy with a little pretty tossed in this Fall. There are several pieces in my closet that I keep reaching for whether I’m headed out for carpool, meeting a friend for lunch or having an impromptu date night.
Faux Leather Blazer / Cashmere Turtleneck / Denim / Similar Boots / Similar Clutch
The first thing I always think of as the weather cools off is my cashmere turtleneck sweaters. Worn it alone with jeans or under a great blazer, you just can’t go wrong. I just added this camel color to my collection! They are already Reader Favorites even before I included them in my October Favorites under $150 and Burgundy Color Crush posts so I know you love them, too!
This blazer is AMAZING! I’ve already worn it twice in the last week for a date night and birthday drinks with a friend. There is no way you’d believe it was faux leather. I’ve received so many compliments on it. This outfit will be on repeat for sure!
Petite Rose White Blouse / Brocade Mules / Favorite Denim / Hazen Margaret / Small Margaret / Three Pearl / Alicia Earrings / Alicia Necklace
A great white shirt is something I add each season, not just for Fall. This top from my Southcott Fall Collection will be great in any season, honestly. I love the sleeve detail and the smocked-ruffle cuff.
These beautiful brocade slides might just be the most comfortable shoes in my closet! If you’ve not tried this brand, you should! I wore out my first pair that were Camo calf hair flats and just ordered a new pair! They run a tad small so I size up a half size. They make a great gift! My mom said last night that she loves the pair I gave her for Christmas last year.
Smocked Top / Denim / Similar Sandals
The It Blouse is a big trend for Fall and this smocked yoke top has been fun to wear. There are days that I’m craving a little more fun and style and this top fits the bill! Casual and comfortable but fun!
Sarasota Long Sleeve Top / Favorite Denim / Suede Mules / Stripe Clutch / Alicia Earrings in Gold / Laurel Necklace / Tiger’s Eye Bamboo Bangle / Gold Margaret Bracelet from the AWL Stack
This cozy fleece top with ruched shoulders from my Southcott Fall Collection as been on definitely repeat! Cozy with chic details is always a win.
Cashmere Sweater / White T / Denim / Suede Mules
I love cashmere for it’s lightweight warmth. It is a great layer for fall fluctuating temps. I picked this cashmere sweater up in two colors at the Nordstrom Sale. It comes in several other colors including black, burgundy, and gray. It would make a fabulous gift! I’ve paired it with a simple white t and these super comfortable mules from the #Nsale. They are a buttery soft nude suede and will be a go-to this fall. They also come in black.
Cashmere Sweater / White T / Denim / Boots
Here is the sweater in Oatmeal styled with suede booties. I ruined my suede boots last year and wanted this warm neutral. They are a good heel height and very comfortable. As it gets cooler, I’ll wear this great long sleeved T with this sweater and as a layer under other jackets.
The denim I have on in these photos is one of my favorite pair. I’ve “hemmed” mine myself by cutting the hem. I shared how I do this in this denim post. Love the distressed hem trend and hope it never goes away!
Barefoot Dreams Cardigan / White T / Commando Faux Leggings / Camo Golden Goose (new version)
These Barefoot Dreams sweaters are now a staple in my closet. I never understood everyone’s love of the Barefoot Dreams cardigans before. Honestly, if everyone has it, I typically avoid it. But now, I get it. Soft, cozy and feels like PJs. Yes, please! Like the sweater above, if I really like something, I tend to get more than one eventually. I now have this in the oatmeal, charcoal and black…well, my oldest snagged by charcoal one from me last fall!
I have on the Commando faux leather leggings here. I like these much better than the popular Spanx that everyone loves. They hold you in but aren’t quite as tight. They also don’t have a waist seam or side seam so they are a more sleek look as well. Mine were a but long but I just cut them with scissors and Voila!
Dress / Booties / Bracelet / Similar Bag
This rope knit dress has been a go-to whether I’m headed to church (Yay that we’ve been twice in person!), or lunch with a friend. I shared it also in the Best Boots for Fall post.
Carolina Dress / Golden Goose / Parker and Hyde Tote / Alicia Earrings in Gold / Tiger’s Eye Bamboo Bangle / Gold Margaret Bracelet from the AWL Stack
I have been living in these sweatshirt style dresses from Southcott. They are so easy to dress up or down with an accessories change. I’ll show you the pretty rose color on IG stories today. My parents surprised us with a visit this week! So fun to have them here and all my girls home, too!
Floral Dress / Frontline Sandals / Valentino Handbag / Lapis Bamboo Bracelet / Tiger’s Eye Bamboo Bracelet / Gold Bead Bracelet / Beyond Mascara
This dress added a pretty feminine touch to my style this fall. This gorgeous dress quickly became an October reader favorite when I wore it to a wedding and is 40% off right now!
Below are these favorites and a few more. As you can see denim is another go-to so I’ve linked a few favorites here and accessories, too. I just picked up these at Nordstrom as they have been your favorites so I can’t wait to try them myself!
