Tatcha Essence, Hydrating Skin Prep

My Favorite Five is back this month with a round of up Clean Beauty Finds.  I’m a beauty junkie and finding products that meet my Clean Beauty Standards is not always easy.  This post explains Why Clean Beauty is Important and why we should all care about what is in our personal care products.

Here are a few new products that meet my standards and I’m loving using!

Bioderma Micellular Water, Clean Beauty products, Clean Beauty Micellular Cleansing Water

Bioderm Hydrating Micellular Cleansing Water:  This Hydrating Micellular Cleansing Water is a French cult classic.  You know I’m obsessed with the Beautycounter Mascara.  I use it nightly to to remove it and love doesn’t leave any residue in my eyes that clouds my contacts.  I also use this as a general make up remover and also in the mornings when I feel like washing my skin will contribute to dryness.  It also comes in Sensitive Skin and Oil Control formulas.

Kevyn Aucoin Neo Highlighter, Clean Beauty Bronzer, Clean Beauty Highlighter Palette

Kevyn Aucoin Neo Bronzer: This gorgeous palette just won Glamour’s Best Bronzer Award. For a naturally sunkissed look, swipe all three colors together with a fan brush or use them individually as a highlighter, blush and bronzer. I apply the highlighter just under my eyebrows, bridge of my nose and top of cheek bones for healthy glow.  Next on my list to try is the Kevyn Aucoin Guardian Angel Creme Highlighter.  You know I love iridescence!

Glo Minerals Precise Browliner: These brow pencils are uber fine and are made to simulate your natural brow color by using two complementary shades. Their fine tips allow you to fill in your brows and avoid microblading and give you full natural looking brows.  I use Blonde and Ash.

Tatcha Essence, Hydrating Skin Prep

Tatcha The Essence: A daily 7-second ritual to reveal your softest, most youthful skin. This resurfacing softener of 98.7% pure anti-aging Japanese superfoods makes all skincare work better. The skin’s water channels are flush with lasting hydration, which creates a pathway to deliver treatments more deeply, amplifying their effectiveness.  Helping to increase cell turnover, improve skin texture and create a smooth luster, The Essence instantly doubles skin’s natural moisture content, above and beyond the results from a moisturizer, and softens and plumps away fine lines & wrinkles. I’ve been using this and feel like my skin is my hydrated and fresh looking.  You may know Tatcha for their Facial Blotting papers, perfect for hot summer days and nights.  Next on my list to try from Tatcha is the Gentle Rice Enzyme Powder.  I’ve heard fabulous things about it!

Clean Sunscreen, Best Nontoxic Sunscreen, Juice Beauty Sunscreen

Juice Beauty Sport Sunscreen: This is not a new find but I wanted to share it again because summer is here and so is the sun. This is the best sunscreen I’ve ever used.  No joke!  My family has sensitive skin and we can use it even on our faces without burning on reapplication.  It truly lasts in the water for 80 minutes and is what we use when we go to the beach as well as swimming in the pool and sports.  A great bonus is that it also leaves your skin moisturized not parched!

Thanks so much for posting this! I share your passion for non-toxic beauty products!
Have you ever tried Tata Harper products? They are supposed to be great, but for the price, I would love to hear an honest review.
    Thanks, as always, for sharing.
