My Top // Tights // Shoes // Loop Bands // Resistance Bands with Handles
I’m jumping right in! Yesterday, I told you my biggest reset (almost a resolution) is Exercise. I used to be class crazy but work, kids, volunteering and just life got in the way and has me out of the habit. It takes 30 days to truly make something a habit so here’s to making this a habit I look forward to by the end of January. I’m hoping that finding a way to exercise at home, I’ll really do it!
Enter my sweet friend and fellow Dallas blogger, Tiffany of Street Style Squad. She has been asking me to teach her how to cook and I need to fall back in the exercise groove, so we’re trading expertise! Today, we’re sharing the first part, Exercise at Home. Stay tuned for the cooking in party two.
Tiffany loves to exercise and is always trying new classes. They also spend two weeks in Hawaii over Christmas so she has a good at home work out down. She’s created a full body workout that I can do at home with two pieces of inexpensive equipment. Amazon can get them to you by tomorrow, hint, hint. I actually already owned both of these items so it was easy to get started. (My husband is a fitness fanatic and co-founder of CFKT, a Cross-Fit gym in Preston Center in Dallas. Maybe, just maybe, I’ll head up there again…)
We had so much fun shooting this and the exercises really hit the right spots. I was sore from the shoot and we didn’t even do all the reps! I think being able to have a quick routine that really works, I’ll actually exercise at home because I can feel and see the results!
First, we focused on the upper body by doing a simple bicep exercise and then hit the shoulders with a standing shoulder press. Next up was one of the hardest spots on the body for women to tone, the tricept with a tricept kickback.
Click here to get all the details from Tiffany’s post. She’s obviously more technical in her explanations than I can be.
Now, let’s get moving!
