I hope you had a great holiday and Merry Christmas with your family and good friends. I can’t believe we are just days from the New Year! I love a new year. So much promise and a chance to do a few new things or a few things differently. Maybe just recommit to what you already do and love.
Today I want to share my New Year’s Eve menu with you. Good recipes that aren’t complicated and allow time to visit with family and friends. Click the titles for the recipes.
Rosemary Garlic Beef Tenderloin
Savory Thyme Sweet Potatoes with Balsamic Reduction
Hot Fruit Compote (Yes, once more because this seems too decadent after New Years resolutions!)
Spiced Cranberry Sauce (So good with the beef tenderloin, you’ll be amazed!)
Cinnamon and Wine Poached Pears
I’ll also do some things on this great cheese board from Crate and Barrel as an appetizer: pepper crusted salami, Manchego Cheese with Fig Preserves, soft goat cheese brie with green apples, Sicilian Olives, Cranberry Honey Goat cheese with Pomegrante Seeds on Bartlett Pears, Fresh Figs, gluten free crackers and other favorites to keep hunger at bay until dinner time.
Happy New Year’s entertaining!
