Many of you may know her from another branch of her business, Mom’s Best Friend.  Mom’s Best Friend has been serving DFW families for 21 years helping them with their Nanny and Household Staffing needs. But did you know that they can also help you with hiring other in home help from housekeeping to chefs to senior care?

I sat down with Kim (right) and her VP, Lindsay Rose, to learn more about the services of Park Cities at Home.

Tell me about how Park Cities at Home began?

Three decades before Dallas became an international city, it was an up-and-coming 80s dreamscape teeming with possibilities. Fortunes were made, and out of those fortunes came big families, big homes, big estates, big ranches, and even bigger dreams.

One of those dreams belonged to Park Cities founder Dana Marzetz, who saw beyond the fun and craze surrounding her into the complex operations taking place daily. With wealth creation came the need for asset maintenance, and someone who could source the right personnel for these critical tasks.

Over the next two decades, Dana would rise to the occasion, becoming a well-known professional, consultant, and friend to both clients and colleagues in her industry. Her knack for facilitating successful relationships with and invaluable help for Dallas’ leading families made her the natural ‘go-to’ for when things needed to get done.

When she lost her life to cancer in 2011 at only 52 years of age, her indomitable spirit inspired us to acquire her business and continue her legacy of excellence and service.

Now, in 2020, we welcome you to “Park Cities At Home”. After 32 years, our branding may be a little different, but our heartbeat stays the same. We get things done in Dallas!

What is your main function? How do you help busy individuals and families?

Household staffing.  We help staff their homes with exceptional staff.

We are located right here in the heart of DFW but also do National searches as well.

All of our candidates go through a 10-step screening process. Vetted to the highest level.

Who is the typical client that calls on Park Cities at Home for professional staffing services?

Generally, high net worth families who need help with managing their home or homes is the client of Park Cities at Home.  Many have a large home in Dallas and many have multiple properties, perhaps a main house in Dallas, a ranch or lake house in Texas and/or another property in the US or abroad.  Most clients consider Texas their home base.  They range from busy, working mothers and fathers to Executives and CEOs.  Our clients need and wants one point of contact to manage the many aspects of caring for and managing their primary residence and second and third homes.  They are also looking for chefs and personal assistants to help with managing professional and home life activities for their families.  They desire help in these areas to allow more time for family and other things they enjoy.
