Wait?  What?  Summer just began!  Well, as someone who has always been interested in the fashion trends and how to interpret them in a classic way, I’m constantly looking ahead to the next season. Nordstrom has so many beautiful styles for pre-fall that are great wear now items.  Being on-trend and ahead of the trend? Yes, please!

A FALL TREND I LOVE

Midi length skirts and dresses will continue to be a big trend, as will asymmetrical hemlines and necklines. I’ve shared tips on how to wear longer skirts if you are petite and they will certainly apply to this trend. Because it stays warm well into the fall here, I like to choose items that I know I will get a lot of wear out of like this beautiful satin midi wrap dress. It is the perfect wear, now wear later dress.

DESIGNER LOGO HANDBAGS

Another big trend for fall is the designer logo handbag. I’m not always a fan of splashing logos on everything, however, for me there’s just something about Fendi. Maybe it’s the fact that I splurged on my first Fendi about 16 years ago only to have it stolen at a restaurant a short time later!

Ever since then, I’ve been on the lookout for about to replace it and nothing caught my eye until this one. Nordstrom always has such a great selection of designer styles.  You know that I love natural elements like bamboo and woven basket bags. This bag is the combination of two elements that I love: the iconic Fendi logo print in neutral colors and a basket/natural element. This logo shopper also comes with a cross body strap which make it great for every day wear as well.

BE READY FOR FALL WITH THE ITEMS YOU WANT MOST!

Another big reason to look ahead is that a lot of the items you want will be sold out by the time you are “ready” to think about the next season.  I know that a great bag is always on my seasonal wish list as are a few pieces that on on trend but in a timeless way.  Designer bags always seem to sell out quickly!
