Sparkle and Shine. Glitter and Glam.  I love pretty things.

I also love Instagram.  It is such a visual treat for any interest.  Food, Fashion, Interior Design and Travel fill my feed.

I guess I’ve been under one of these pretty rocks because it is here that I discovered my friend’s new business.  Julie Lieberman and Caryn Jacobs are ROX by CJ Designs.  CJ Designs offers one of a kind handmade home decor items including chic acrylic and lacquer boxes, coasters and napkin rings. No two items are alike as each is adorned with agate, quartz, citrine amethyst and other precious stones.

I asked Julie and Caryn to share a bit about themselves and ROX.  Hope you enjoy!

How did you meet?

Our 11-year-old sons like to take credit for the inception of our business.  They boys were on the same soccer team.  Nothing like finding a new friend to watch from the sidelines with.

How did you decide to begin ROX by CJ Designs?

Our business evolved as we began to discover similar interests and the desire to explore new creative ventures.  Surprisingly, we did not have a premeditated path for ROX.  The business quickly took on an exciting life of it’s own!

Where are your designs available?

Our line is available at several stores across the country including Maison 24 in New York City and Amen Wardy in Aspen.  We are so thrilled to have a presence in Dallas at Canary, Gallerie Noir and Neiman Marcus.

What inspires you?

We both have always had a love for shells, rocks and crystals since our childhood.  We find inspiration everywhere from fashion, nature, food and our creative children.
