Today, I want to introduce you to Southcott Threads. Sharing a new designer with you is always exciting for me especially when the designer as a friend! Three years ago, my friend, Amy Graham, started Southcott Threads. She began her line with 8 luxury tshirt styles designed for the four distinct body shapes of women and named for diamonds. Brilliant! Who doesn’t want to be compared to diamonds!?!?
Southcott Threads has now grown to a line with 50 styles that include not just Tshirts but blouses, dresses, cardigans, shorts and more carried in 200 boutiques across the country. The line is fully stocked on the Southcott website as well.
All designs are based on 4 distinct body shapes which are named after diamond cuts: Asscher, Emerald, Trillion and Oval. All styles are designed for one of these shapes. We all fall into one of these with maybe a touch of another. I’m an Asscher and a bit Trillion. Once you know your shape, you can easily shop the style for you in each category and know they will fit.
You may you remember that I wore three of her dresses on my recent trip to Italy. I’m obsessed with those two dress styles and am wearing one today! See them here and here. They’ll be going on another trip with me soon!
I’m excited to share with you the Southcott Threads Fall ’18 Collection. I’ve styled three different pieces for you with two tops and a dress.
As you know, I’m a huge fan of dresses year round and the Southcott Thread designs are on point for fall. This V-neck dress with button hem detail is perfect with boots and a scarf on a cold day or your favorite sandals when it’s still 70° outside. This would also be a great travel dress. Their fabrics are easy to pack and the wrinkles just fall out. It comes in two additional colors.
Next, is this camouflage print trimmed Tee. This top is fabulous styled with the waxed jeans. It would also be great to throw over your workout clothes when you have to run to a school meeting. I love a versatile piece! The soft bamboo cotton, which is her signature fabric, is one of my favorites. Amy is always great with picking up trends but still showcasing them in a classic, wearable way as she has done here with the camo detail.
Southcott Threads also has you covered for holiday. This stretch velvet blouse with blouson lace sleeves is absolutely gorgeous! The design of the lace is feminine and so soft. I love the gathered cuff detail on the lace sleeve as well. It comes in three colors and I really had a hard time choosing!
In the boutique below, you can see the rest of my favorites from the Fall ’18 collection as well as The Essentials collection. Southcott Thread Essentials are available year-round in different colors seasonally. And they are just as they describe… Essentials. While I was in her studio choosing the styles you see featured here, I picked up several tops including this one in two colors. I also adore her French Terry shorts and wear them almost every day for carpool!
Shop my favorites from Fall ’18 and the Southcott Essentials Collection below. I know you’ll find your favorites here easily when you shop you shape, too!
