I am such a creature of habit when it comes to so many things. It was time for a make up update and what better time than Spring for a fresh start. I turned to my favorite Clean Beauty brand: Beautycounter. I love the items I’m using and wanted to share my Spring Make Up favorites with you today.
Beautycounter has several new eye shadow palettes, so I know that was going to be my focus for the refresh. The 9-color palette comes in 3 color combinations: Classic, Romantic, Statement and Iconic. They also have an 18 color palette called Necessary Neutrals. The one I chose is Romantic. It is the perfect size for travel, too.
For an everyday look, I’ve been using Candlelight all over my lid with a touch of Brulee in the crease. For a more dressed up day look for a luncheon or church, I use Candlelight with Flush or Truffle in the crease. For evening, I’ve been using Cameo on my lid with a mix of Truffle and Smolder in the crease. Moondust is a fun shimmering shadow as a highlight for a night out. Moto is the perfect shade to deepen any of these colors or use as an eyeliner by dampening an eyeliner brush. Typically though, my go-to is the Navy Eye Pencil to line my upper lash line an what I’m wearing here.
I switched to the Rose Glow cream highlighter blush a few weeks ago as well. I’m a huge fan of Beautycounter’s cream blushes. Caramel has been my go-to for years. It’s the perfect neutral and great on lips and cheeks. The Rose Glow is a new cream blush and I use it everyday on cheeks and my lips. This product is perfect for travel because it is multipurpose.
My favorite concealer is still the Touchup Concealer pen. I use the light color. It’s easy to apply, covers my dark circles well and lasts all day. My girls are a bit more fair and use the Fair color. And I’m a FOREVER fan of Beautycounter’s Mascaras. I’ve written about them here before. I use the Lengthening Mascara topped with one coat of the Volumizing Mascara every day. They last all day and I never need a touchup. The mascara combo and concealer are the two products I never leave the house without using!
A new product I added for my brows is the Brilliant Brow Gel. I was a bit skeptical but I love using it after my brow pencil both in Light. They help make my blonde eyebrows stand out perfectly.
Three things I use but didn’t change for Spring are my primer, sunscreen drops with SPF 30 and tinted moisturizer. I love the Dew Skin Tinted Moisturizer with SPF20. I use color #2. I use the tinted moisturizer at night on special occasions as sort of a foundation.
If you’ve read my blog for any time at all, you probably know Clean Beauty is important to me and that Beautycounter is one of my very favorites. For a while, I had a pretty large team under me for this amazing brand. But as the blog grew, I shifted my focus to building this space but I still have a small team and others who join from time to time. If that is something you are interested in, drop me a line here.
Beautycounter has a first time order promotion of 20% off which is a great intro to clean beauty. This is the perfect time to switch out a few products or try a new one you’ve been eyeing! For any order you place and enter my name as the consultant, I’ll send you samples of other Beautycounter products another fun gift as well.
Shop all the items in the boutique below. I’d love to know your spring beauty favorites, too!

Congratulations on the lovely new blog. This 63 yr young lady likes to keep it fresh and appropriately fashionable 🤗. My older sis and I love looking at your beautiful home & decorating pictures.
