White Embroidered Cover Up / Earrings (Sold Out) / Favorite Two-Piece

With a beach vacation on the horizon, cover ups and swimsuits are top of my packing list.  We are headed to one of our favorite destinations in a few weeks to celebrate my parents’ 50th anniversary with them.

One of my favorite things about a beach vacation is picking up a few great cover ups because I’m not wild about walking around in my suit at a club or resort.  Having a stylish cover-up is the perfect answer.

I’ve seen this red one-shoulder cover up on Instagram a few times and in my June Under $150 post and in my Cabo post.  It truly is my favorite and I just picked it up in black for our trip to Punta Mita.  It really is that good!

This white cover up with blue embroidery is also a favorite.  The embroidery detail is so beautiful and you won’t believe it but it is under $100.  I know I’ll be wearing it July 4th when we have friends over to cook out after our little town’s parade.

It is light and airy and also dries quickly!  I know this because when Holly and I were playing catch she totally drenched me!  I’m thinking this just might count as “Having a water fight!” on the Cabana Life Summer Bucket List.  I’m loving this fun list of summer things to do and we are checking them all off.  Click here to learn more and to learn how to be featured on Cabana Life’s Instagram account and win a big gift card!

As for swimsuits, I do wear two-pieces most often for two reasons: at 5’2″ it’s VERY hard to find one that fits and I also get VERY hot.  And after getting heat exhaustion a year ago, I’m very carful to not get over heated.  This cute one-piece (shown above, sold out, similar here) fits well and I love this one as well.  This one is perfect for Mexico! This is my favorite two-piece, hands-down.  I have it in three colors.  It covers the right places and has great support as well.
