The start of the new year and putting away the Christmas decorations have me craving a clean and organized house. I’ve rounded up the posts I’ve done before into the Best Home Organization Ideas for your home and mine.
Over the next few weeks, I’ll be going room by room to get these spaces back to tip-top shape and doing a few more! I’ll share on Instagram Stories as I do these spaces to offer you a bit of inspiration as well.
Since I work from home, I’ve had my home office set up for a while. Because I don’t have a dedicated room as a home office, I have to make do with the space I have. Many of you may be in this same situation as well. My Home Office Reveal might be a good resource for you and some of the storage a good way to handle all the paper that comes in to our homes from school and other responsibilities.
An organized pantry is a must for me! I will probably refresh it this week! My friend Tonia Tomlin from Sorted Out shared 5 Tips to a Perfectly Organized Pantry that helped me tame the chaos of a fairly small and highly used pantry.
One of the first posts I did almost 8 years ago, was kitchen and bath drawer organization. This was a hugely popular post and still gets traffic. It’s super easy and helps so much! I’m going to be pulling everything out of the drawers, wiping them out and making it all fresh in the coming days. My Master Bath drawers are next! I get so many samples, it’s time to clean out!
Our Master Closet was so fun to design when we remodeled our home about 9 years ago. This Master Closet Reveal post shows you the before and after of my Master Closet Organization and working with Tonia to get it right. The tips and techniques that she taught me and the products she suggested helped me gain a lot of space in my Master Closet. It is so nice that everything has it’s place and is easy to find.
I also shared her Tips to Organizing Your Closet Like A Pro in a second post because they were so helpful and that post was already long!
I recently changed the jewelry storage. I had the pretty jewelry box you see in the posts and we used it but it is hard to see the items and out of sight out of mind! Here are 5 Tips for Organizing and Storing Jewelry.
Top of my list after the Master Closet was my Master Bath. I love the organizing system that The Container Store helped me put together using their Organization Studio. This was a really fun project and one you can do from home and get the supplies you need for any space with their expert help online.
Another item I’ll be working on is Home Maintenance. I created this Complete Home Maintenance Checklist and it is time to get this quarter’s items checked off the list. No Excuses! It’s a free gift when you subscribe to my newsletter.
I hope this gives you some inspiration on getting organized around the house. I’d love to know what space you want to see next! We are have finally finished the garage so I’ll share that soon!
