From cozy sweaters and great denim to sun dresses and swimsuits from home decor and gifts to fabulous handbags and beauty products here are the top 50 reader favorite purchases for 2022.
Topping the list for the year is the luxury cashmere sweaters from Nordstrom. The Black Turtleneck and pastel Vnecks were big hits with you. So many of you picked up the sequin pants and let me know you loved them, too! You can’t go wrong with a fabulous black cashmere turtleneck. It goes with anything and everything. I featured this look in What to Wear to Holiday Parties and y’all have been crazy for it! I actually own several of these cashmere turtlenecks and black, but also in camel and gray.
I love the classic look of a V-neck cashmere sweater for daytime or any time. This gorgeous lavender color is perfect for a gloomy winter day. Paired with my favorite denim and sneakers for running errands but feeling chic and cozy.
This gorgeous dark floral from Farm Rio was also very top of the list of items you loved this year. I love the balloon sleeve detail and high-waisted smocked skirt with a ruffle flounce hem. It’s hard to believe it is still available in almost all sizes! It would be great for Valentine’s Day and into the spring because of the bright reds and pinks. Paired with my favorite heeled sandal which is another favorite of yours as well.
This classic off-the-shoulder dress has been a favorite of mine and yours this holiday season. So much so it tops the list for the year! I’m eyeing the pink for an upcoming trip I love it that much! This dress looks like two pieces: a slim bodysuit-style top with a full skirt that is fitted in at the waist and hips with gathered panels. It runs a bit small so I sized up and am wearing a Small.
I’ve had my eye on this great dress from day 1! This camel shift tunic style dress, also from Tuckernuck, is a great Fall/Winter Staple Dress. It also comes in other colors. It fits True to Size.
This French Terry Dress is one I grab over and over again. This dress is from Tuckernuck and one of their in-house brands.
So many items from What I Wore in Spain this Summer were top sellers. I loved exploring the town of Soller in this uber soft and light dress. I love this cool fabric! I’ll be ordering another in this style. I’ve linked this color and several other new colors below for you! I also found this at Tuckernuck.
This white eyelet dress I wore in Spain is quintessential spring/summer! The tiny ruffle details on the tiers add a special touch. It’s a classic that I know I’ll wear for years. It’s part of a collaboration with a celebrity and Tuckernuck. This eyelet fabric is just the right weight and the dress is so well made. It is available again in all sizes. I’m wearing XXS.
Another Tuckernuck favorite, this linen dress has been a favorite of mine and yours since I shared it here. It’s a great dress for easy days and travel. You can easily dress it up with cute espadrilles and down with flat sandals for a night by the fire overlooking the ocean as I have it styled for Santa Barbara.
This Blue Tile Print Misa dress is still a favorite. My girls have borrowed it a lot, too! I’ve found it in a few places and sizes for you below.
I wore one of my favorite summer dresses that transitioned into Fall with muted colors. I first wore it in Santa Barbara where I’m pictured here. I love the soft tones of this dress. It is from one of my go-to brands. I brought this pretty blue and white dress with me and have worn it several times,
Funny story….I didn’t realize this dress was the same fabric as the dress above when I ordered it! Oh well! I loved it, too, so I kept it. This was one of the dresses I wore in Santa Barbara in June. I promise that Travel Guide is coming very soon! I wore this dress a lot in the Spring and summer, including my daughter’s Italian Riviera inspired graduation brunch.
Back year after year, my Cuyana wrap in every color. This is a great gift and a truly classic style staple for your wardrobe.
Also always on the Top 50 for the year and many monthly favorites as well is the Cuyana Oversized Alpaca Sweater. I have this sweater in 3 colors and now that the black is back in stock, it is on the way as well! These Stuart Weitzman Nudistsong Sandals in both nude and black are also always top sellers and true classics.
I’ve never seen you love denim like you did these high-waisted Cindy cut from Paige Denim in both the dark and light washes. I’ve linked these in both washes below. And the VB cork wedges were THE SHOE of the Spring and Summer. I’ve loved wearing mine. I’ve found them again for you. They are a great classic style staple.
My favorite carry-on suitcase is again a favorite of yours as well. I have the Aviator Plus. This suitcase rolls like a dream and comes in lots of color combinations.
This great shirt jacket is so good I have it in two colors! It’s available in several colors and most sizes.
You loved this LBD that can easily go from day to night with a change of accessories. It’s lightweight and great for Spring as well as Fall transition when you wear it with boots and a jacket or sweater as it gets cooler. This fits TTS and I’m wearing an XS.
This classic bag was a favorite of yours in both the black and the nude color from my Little Luxuries Gift Guide. I’ve had mine for several years and it is still a go-to! I love it for dressing up, running errands, game days and travel. It’s such a versatile bag!
Which of these items are in your closet now? I’d love to know!
