Veronica Beard Blazer c/o // White Skinny Jeans // Via Spiga Black Leather Boots // Longchamp Le Pliage Cuir // Lip Color Set (on sale!)
I’ve loved this Veronica Beard blazer I featured on Instagram several weeks ago. It is the very best way to get out the door looking pulled together on a busy morning or when you want look great with little effort. And, truly, who doesn’t want that!
As you know, Veronica Beard is one of my favorite brands. Designed by sisters-in-law named Veronica, the foundation of their brand is the blazer and it’s interchangeable dickeys. Obviously these aren’t the dickey you remember from drill team uniforms or in the 70s if you are from that era like me. These are gorgeous style pieces that zip into all VB blazers. They range from a camo windbreaker hoodie to cashmere sweaters to leather jacket looks. The combinations are endless! They also have coordinating cuffs that truly make it look like you’ve layered.
I received a new striped cashmere dickey for Christmas and played up the white stripe with my favorite white jeans. I wear white jeans year-round. Long gone are the rules on white. I finished the look with my favorite black leather boot that are currently on sale. I love the block heel on these. They are still available in many sizes. This look would be equally great with a good black loafer. I just found a pair of Gucci I saved from 20 years ago in my closet. When you buy quality, you should keep it forever!
This handbag is the leather version of my favorite travel bag. I’ve been waiting for this classic color to be released again. It was one of the top Gifts for Her and I’m so glad my hubby took the hint! Speaking of hints, don’t forget to sign up your guy for my gift list email. I’ll be sending the Valentine’s Day email later this week.
I get a lot of questions about my lip color. What I have on here, and what I wear most often, is now available as a set and on sale for a limited time. It is Twig Lip Sheer and Bare Shimmer Gloss from Beautycounter. For Valentine’s Day, they’ve packaged them as a set and you save $10. When you check out, enter my name as the consultant and I’ll send you free Beautycounter item! This set makes a great gift for your BFF and for teens, too. It’s a great time to pick up a few. I just did!
When I wear white jeans in winter, I don’t only pair them with dark colors. I love a beautiful pastel sweater. All white is always chic. These pale colors have me ready for spring! Some days it feels like it’s just around the corner!
