What a fun weekend! I was honored to attend the 2019 rewardStyle Conference again this year. This weekend is filled with as much learning and technology as fashion! It is because of YOU and your amazing support of my website/business that I was able to attend this year. So thank you!
This is a conference put on each year by rewardStyle for the top 200 style bloggers worldwide who use their platform to power our websites and link our Instagram posts and other style posts directly in the LikeToKnow.it app. If you’re not using the app, you should! I post exclusive content there and will be doing more of this going forward. You can download the LikeToKnow. It app here.
At #rstheCon, we are able to network with other bloggers, meet with great brands and get updates on the industry, what is coming from rewardStyle and LikeToKnow. It and other educational content related to the business of blogging. Without YOU, I would not be included. So a BIG THANK YOU!
This conference is filled with as much fun fashion as technology and information making it a really great weekend! Here is a rundown on what I wore this year…
Thursday: Pool Party hosted by Sole Society
Eyelet Mini Dress / Wedges / Staud Bag / For Less / Sunglasses
A fun pool party always kicks off the festivities. After the party, a group of girls always goes to dinner. I popped by for just a bit because I hosted a great group of women at my home for dinner after the party. To the pool party, I wore this fun dress that will be perfect for all summer and is under $200.
Dinner at my home with Blogger Friends
Lilly Pulitzer Maxi Dress / Wedges
Once home, I changed into this beautiful striped maxi dress from Lilly Pulitzer. Since the weekend is all about style, why not a wardrobe change!?! I’ll be sharing all the details on this Garden Party later this week. It was a pleasure to have these sweet gals at my home.
Friday: Opening Session and Lunch
Navy, White, and Mint Green Tweed Sail to Sable Dress / Valentino City Sandals / Woven Basket Bag
Friday was a busy one for me but not just because of the conference. I started the day at Senior class photos at her school then moved on to the conference in time for lunch. This gorgeous lunch was hosted by Dallas-based Mary Kay and was the most beautiful shades of pink, of course. I love the new lipstick color I chose from their cute lip touch up station. I missed the Opening Session which is one of my favorite parts of the weekend but my friends Tanya Foster, Erin Busbee and Lee Cordon filled me in. If you don’t follow them, you should!
Cocktail Party Hosted by eBayMisa Los Angeles Dress / Favorite Sandals / Staud Mini Shirley Bag in White
The Friday night Cocktail Party was hosted by eBay. I’ve partnered with them several times (here and here) and always love my eBay finds. Making this night especially fun was the fact that my hubby came with me. It was good for him to see this Conference and the events first hand! We also took a few fun photos that I can’t wait to share with you! My dear friend, Sarah Smith, who you’ve read about here, hosted a fundraiser so we went there next. This spring floral dress from my Spring Trend: Romantic Florals post was perfect for both occasions. I love these heels because they help to make your legs looks long and at 5’2″, I need that! I was a bit overdressed for the high school play we attended next but did change my shoes to be more casual…ha!
Saturday: Classroom Sessions and Brand Meetings
Veronica Beard Dress / Trench / Steve Madden Espadrille Wedges / Staud Shirley Bag
Saturday was a FULL day since the day before was open so I could go to my girls’ activities. I had four brand meetings: Steve Madden, Wayfair, NuFace and Elemis. These are a great way to get to know a brand and tell them more about you face-to-face. There is also a brand hall where you can go meet brands, as well. I was going to wear jeans and a top but slept in so I just grabbed a favorite dress and comfortable wedges. It started raining and a cold front blew in so my sweet hubby brought my trench to me! I think next year, I’ll just plan to wear jeans, a t-shirt, and a trench. I seem to revert to that anyway because it always gets cold on this day!
Bonus Look: Mother Daughter Fashion Show
BB Dakota Lace Top / Cupcakes and Cashmere Faux Wrap Skirt / Sam Edelman Black Suede Heels / Misa Los Angeles Ofelia Dress (also here) / Favorite Sandals in Black
I know this isn’t part of the rewardStyle Conference but it was part of my fun weekend. I got to walk the runway in my daughter’s school’s Mother Daughter Fashion Show featuring the Senior girls and their moms. This was a fun day we will not forget! I am proud of her and who she is and very proud to be her mom. So many great things lie ahead in her future. I’m looking forward expectantly to what the Lord has in store for her. Thanks for indulging me in a bit of personal memories, too!
Thank you again for reading my blog. Whether you’ve been here since the beginning as The Lush List or new since my rebrand to Alicia Wood Lifestyle, you are the reason I get to attend this conference and learn how to work smarter, bring you great new content and reach for my dreams.
Have a great week!

Beautiful and classic outfits, as always. I know you had a busy and fun weekend. I still remember all the senior activities and it’s a proud and good time, but sad realizing that it’s really happening. Best wishes to your daughter.
Alicia,
I don’t seem to be able to subscribe to your blog. Each time I try it’s says there’s a problem.
Can you help with this?
