What I Wore in Palm Springs

by | Packing Lists, Style, Travel

In my last post, I shared with you, our last-minute change and spring break plans and a packing list for Palm Springs. Here are the details on what I wore in Palm Springs and a travel guide is coming soon!

Daytime Looks

Tailored Blue Linen Maxi Dress / SwimsuitSimilar Sandals / Basket Bag

Most every day my outfit was super simple. One of my favorite swimsuits and a great cover-up. We were so happy to be in the warm sunshine and relaxing by the pool that I never took a photo! This great white, one shoulder suit and shirt dress that I wore as a cover-up is one of the looks that I took. You saw this originally in my what I wore in Santa Barbara. The swimsuit is a favorite. I also took it to Spain. This long blue linen shirt dress is part of my friend Mary Hafner’s collaboration with Marta Scarampi. Mary just released a new collaboration and not only is this dress still available but they also designed it with a more relaxed fit as well.

Aviator Nation Sweatshirt / Free People Shorts

One day we trekked out to Joshua tree national Park. It was a freezing and cloudy day, so we were a tad under dressed in our shorts and very thankful for sweatshirts!

Lavender and Coral Ikat Top / Similar White Shorts / Cork Wedges / Raffia Mini Bag

Two different days we did a little shopping in the El Paseo area of Palm Desert. This lavender and coral Ikat top from Sheridan French was one of my favorite pieces that I took to Palm Springs. I paired it with my old faithful white shorts that I wish Michael Kors would make again and sandals. I changed to these wedge heels for a casual dinner.

Teal Toile Top / Similar White Shorts / Chloe Woody Tote / Similar Sandals

This teal toile tunic also from Sheridan French was perfect for shopping and then changed to white jeans for dinner. I love the find whimsical custom prints that Sheridan creates. I find that her clothing fit true to size, and I am wearing an XS in each of these.

Dinner Looks

Pink Floral Dress / Cork Wedges / Mini Raffia Bag

Several nights we dressed for dinner, and it was so fun to wear some fun spring prints. The evenings were cool, so I typically wore one of my favorite wraps or draped a great sweater over my shoulders.  This darling pale pink Banjanan floral dress was perfect for dinner at a friend’s club. Paired with my favorite neutral cork wedges and mini raffia bag this is also a great look for Easter and so many spring occasions.

Blue and Green Kelly Dress / Cork Wedges / Mini Raffia Bag

I adore the Kelly style maxi dress also from Sheridan French. You’ve seen this style before in Best dresses for a Beach Vacation. This darling print with shades of blue and green is so fresh. I draped this Lilly Pulitzer blue and green space dye sweater you’ve seen before over my shoulders. It’s a cozy favorite that I wore to breakfast, too.

Blue and White Dress / Cork Wedges / Chloe Mini Woody Tote

When I shared this blue and white print dress from Sail To Sable on Instagram stories several weeks ago, you loved it! I love the shades of blue in this beautiful print and the special banding detail on the sleeves and hem.  It is such a flattering fit, too. It’s also featured in and in 21 Spring Dresses for Easter and Beyond.  It fits true to size and I am wearing XS.

Coral Pink Floral Dress / Cork Wedges / Mini Raffia Bag

This coral pink floral dress from Avara is another that I previewed on Instagram stories before our trip and so many of you snapped it up! The ruffle detail on the shoulders make it fun and flirty. Another very flattering fit with an elastic waist and tiered skirt. This fits true to size and I am wearing XS.

You can see more of my suggestions in my Palm Springs packing list. The focus of this trip was relaxing in the sunshine by the pool, and I would say we were successful! I’m working on other phone posts and a new fully stocked spring boutique coming in the next few weeks, so stay tune for lots of great inspiration! In the meantime, don’t forget to check out these posts:
