We had such a wonderful time in Santa Barbara. I’ll be sharing a travel guide with all we did and other suggestions soon. In the meantime, here is a look at What I Wore in Santa Barbara as a follow up to my Santa Barbara Packing List.
I wore this great dress that has been a best seller and repeat reader favorite. I always receive compliments on this dress when I wear it. The fabric is almost a tissue weight cotton so very light but I love the sleeves for the cold summer A/C. I had my larger travel wrap from Cuyana in my MZ Wallace tote for the plane and was perfectly comfortable. Plus, I was ready for lunch on the veranda at the Belmond El Encanto when we arrived!
I wore this perfect linen maxi dress two different ways on our trip. It is part of the Mary Hafner collaboration with Marta Scarampi out of Italy. Mary has the best taste and was my original photographer. I purchased this to support her but now honestly love the brand, too! It will be a staple for me this summer…I may have ordered another color and another dress from them! This is the tailored version of the dress.
Here it is in the shade so you can see the color a little better! Also, this basket bag/pool tote is my new favorite summer bag! I took it to the Bahamas, too. The insert you see snaps in to keep valuables safe from tumbling out and still leaves a lot of room in the bag. You can see my Cuyana wrap peaking out!
This dress is the perfect summer day dress! Cute detail on the sleeve and easy to throw on a go!
This sweet white dress from Avara Summer Arrivals and Favorite White Dresses for Summer has been another favorite. It is a beautiful cotton fabric and such great quality for it’s under $150 price tag. It’s been a best seller, too.
I work this blue and white gingham top with beautiful sleeve details on our sailing day and exploring Santa Barbara.
We had dinner beachfront at the Rosewood Miramar the first night and I wore this blue and white printed cotton dress. When we walked to out table, my husband said, “Every table we passed someone turned around to look at you.” Ok…a bit strange then I was stopped no less that 3 times and asked about it! One woman followed me to the railing when I took a photo of the sunset to ask me! It’s a beauty for sure! It was also a May Reader Favorite and I can’t believe it’s available in all sizes still.
I actually wore this dress twice! I wore it to dinner with our daughter and the next night with our friends at San Ysidro Ranch’s Stonehouse. I love the soft tones of this dress. It is from one of my go-to brands. I brought this pretty blue and white dress with me and have worn it several times, including my daughter’s Italian Riviera inspired graduation brunch, but decided to go with the short for San Ysidro Ranch as we were going to be walking through the property and playing putt putt on their cute course, too!
I’m working on planning our next trip and hope to be able to share another packing list with you soon! Stay tuned for some new travel guides in the meantime!
