We had an amazing time on our SeaDream Yacht Club trip along the Costa del Sol. This was the perfect way to see each of these destinations and experience enough that we can’t wait to go back! I’ll be sharing all the details of the trip with you next week. There are so many details that it’s taking me a while to write.
In the meantime, I wanted to share what I wore in Spain with you. I shared the full packing post before we left. You may notice there are a few things that I didn’t wear because it wasn’t quite as cool at night as I anticipated. Otherwise, I packed perfectly! I do like to bring one or two pieces for back ups and I’m so glad I did.
I also got a lot of questions about how large was the suitcase I took. I always use this 26″ Hartmann 7R Spinner pictured below. It is the same suitcase I took for 13 days in Italy. It has a feature that almost serves as a built-in packing cube that compresses your clothing in one side. I also pack things flat and take a travel steamer. I’ll share a post on that sometime soon.
Just like on our flight to and from Italy, I wore the Southcott maxi. It truly feels like a nightgown which is a huge plus. It’s my go-to pop on dress for driving morning carpool, too.
This easy favorite is back in stock and also available in red. The fabric is perfect for travel as it seems to be wrinkle proof!
SeaDream Day 1 and Morning in Malaga
Can you spot the fun crew of the SeaDream in the background!?!? Loved wearing this skirt to the Picasso Museum and our first day on the yacht. It was such a conversation starter!
This classic shift dress was perfect for our first night. I loved this persimmon color that is exclusive to Tuckernuck and perfect for fall. I’m wearing it again today to the Bush Museum to see the First Ladies exhibit.
SeaDream Day 2 – Puerto Banús
This dress is like a pair of white jeans. Perfect for any occasion and classic. It is one of my most worn dresses. I take in on almost every trip and am always glad I did. I’ve had it for over three years and Veronica Beard has made it part of their collection that remains each season. You’ll see a version of it below in stripes.
SeaDream Day 3 – Gibraltar
So many questions about this great top! I love it with white and denim. I’ll be wearing it a lot this fall and into spring!
A reader favorite! Under $100 and back in stock. Really a classic as well and so much fun to wear.
SeaDream Day 4 – Motril and Granada
This light weight dress was perfect for the heat and fun to wear. Comes in several other colors as well.
SeaDream Day 5 – Cartagena
Afternoon on the Yacht: Cabana Life White and Navy Terry Tunic (Lost the photo! I also wore this to breakfast a lot of mornings)
SeaDream Day 6 – Denia
Dinner: Marie Oliver Silk Caftan from Front Door Fashion
I felt very stylish in this silk caftan. It will be another item I take on a lot of beach trips!
SeaDream Day 7 – Ibiza
This restaurant was darling!! You can see it on SeaDream 1 Highlights on Instagram.
I loved wearing this silky print dress. It was perfect for the breezy last night and I’ll wear it a lot this fall.
Barcelona Day 1
Barcelona Day 2
Blending in at Gaudi’s Casa Batllo. The house was full of gorgeous blue tile!
Evening: What I was going to wear: Strapless Veronica Beard Ruffle Front Dress / Stuart Weitzman Sandals / Givenchy Horizon Tote / Birdcage Earrings (I actually wore this to a dinner last night. Nothing like hitting the ground running, right?!?!)
What we wore instead! Ha! Scott threw out the idea of going to the FC Barcelona game to see Lionel Messi so how could I say no!?!? We love watching soccer even when it’s not our daughters!
I know this was a lot of information again in one post. Next Wednesday, my Wanderlust Wednesday installment will be all about the SeaDream experience and the details of what we did in each port. In the meantime, you can see what we have in mind for our next yacht club trip and a special offer for you!
